Airport Connections?

Airport (1970)
I was researching Michael Bell links to movies at IMDB
and I saw that he was in the Airport movie

(he is an uncredited actor - bus driver).
It was also Van Heflin's last cinema released movie, before he died in

1971 on 23/7, or as Americans write 7/23.
Both Bell and Heflin were in movies playing at the Texas Theater
when Oswald was arrested.
7/23?

23/7/7/23 and Oswald

Audie Murphy, who was killed in a plane crash,

in which Audie Murphy died
was even the narrator of one of the movies (War is Hell)

War Is Hell (1961)
playing in the Texas theater and Dean Martin had a big hit with

Shutters and Boards, one of Murphy's songs.
What astonished me was that  Airport was made in 1970,
but 3/4 of the cast are already dead, and the plane used in the movie
crashed in real life killing a lot of people, most not even on the plane.
"The real star of the show, the Boeing 707
(a 707-348C, serial no. 19351 [503rd 707 off the production line], originally registered N324F), was leased to MCA/Universal Pictures from Flying Tiger Airlines
(now merged with FedEx)
for the filming of the exterior shots.
After filming was completed, the aircraft returned to Flying Tiger and was later sold, going through various owners before meeting a tragic end--
it crashed while on landing approach on March 21, 1989, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. "
Airport (1970) Trivia
Oddly, one of the last remaining living cast members is a Kennedy,
although not related, I think.

George Kennedy Talks About Life and

His New Memoir "Trust Me"

And check out the IMDB # for 'Airport' 00065377.
There's that number again - 77.

The plane model was a 707, too.
One of the sequels in the Airport  franchise.
23/7 or 7/23?
Dean Martin's son Dean Paul Martin, who was an actor was also killed in a plane crash.

Dean Paul Martin
" Martin, an avid pilot, obtained his pilot's license at age 16 and became an officer in the California Air National Guard in 1981.
He rose to the rank of Captain.
He died in 1987 when his National Guard
F-4 Phantom jet fighter crashed in California's
San Bernardino Mountains during a snowstorm,
killing him and his Weapons Systems Officer, Captain Ramon Ortiz.
On the subject of snowstorms, Dean Paul Martin was married to Olivia Hussey who starred in Lost Horizon, having a son with her,
Alexander Martin, who is also an actor.
Alexander Martin
George Kennedy out of 'Airport' starred in Lost Horizon as well.

" While escaping war-torn China, a group of Europeans crash in the Himalayas, where they are rescued and taken to the mysterious Valley of the Blue Moon, Shangri-La."
Olivia Hussey was also in the Stephen King movie IT .
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001377/
"In 1960, seven outcast kids known as "The Loser Club" fight an evil demon who poses as a child-killing clown.
30 years later, they are called back to fight the same clown again."
Olivia was also in the Michael Jackson's film clip Liberian Girl.
This movie was based on
King
's novel, The Shining
Room 237?
Amy Winehouse passed away on
July 23rd (23/7)
