Orange is the New Black Coffee in the World of Pop Culture?

The Art of Butchering Pop Culture
I just read Chris Knowles new post at 'The Secret Sun' blog and it is rather mind-blowing no matter from which angle ... or should that be angel ... you take it from -
"Enter the Hypnotic World of MK-ULTRA"
Whether you believe it's a black op, a clever meme, just coincidence, or all of the above, you can't help but be impressed while reading this post ... and maybe there is a reason for that, too?-)
Chris is the author of 'Our Gods Wear Spandex' and 'The Secret History of Rock and Roll'.
In the world of pop culture, we seem to be trapped between the devil and the deep blue sea, at least in Jungian terminology when dealing with the "collective unconsciousness".
And October 2017 is turning out to be really creepy with the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparition falling on a "Black Friday", too.
"Our Lady of Fátima (Portuguese: Nossa Senhora de Fátima, formally known as Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fátima, European Portuguese: [ˈnɔsɐ sɨˈɲoɾɐ dɨ ˈfatimɐ]Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈnɔsɐ siˈɲɔɾɐ dʒi ˈfatʃimɐ]), is a Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary based on the famed Marian apparitions reported in 1917 by three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal
The three children were Lúcia Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto.
Bishop José Alves Correia da Silva declared the miracle worthy of belief on 13 October 1930, officially permitting devotion within the Catholic Church.
The event is commemorated each year on that same date."
I can't help but think that we are in for some dark nights ahead and it's time to buckle up for one wild ride that's in front of us.
But then again, I probably do watch too many movies and listen to too many songs, as well;-)
Orange really does seem to be the new black at the moment.
And as for the siren themes let's hope it doesn't mean curtains for us all, as well.
The Butcher Billy and Chris Knowles really do have their finger on the pop cultural pulse at present it seems.
Happy Halloween ... that's if we all make IT that far;-)
