Fisher, Creativity and Catching the Big Fish in Triple J's Hottest 100?

Losing it by getting #2 wasn't bad:-)
I couldn't help but see a clear ocean/fish theme running through Triple J's Hottest 100 after reading this newspaper article below that singled out the Queensland contingent in the Top 100.
While the Queenslander Paul Fisher snagged second spot with 'Losing It', it was the New South Welshmen 'Ocean Alley' who book-ended the Top 100 with the songs 'Confidence' (#1) and 'Sad Happy' (#100).
Ocean Alley’s Hottest 100 win: It’s all about Confidence, baby
But Queenslander Amy Shark managed a high five as well with her song, 'I Said Hi':-)
We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat?
Amy Shark also managed a respectable #36 with her song, 'All Loved Up'.
I couldn't help thinking of David Lynch's book 'Catching the Big Fish' when seeing which artists had won a spot on Triple J's Top 100.
My Sunday: Between Two Worlds and Trying to Catch the Big Fish
Queenslander Mallrat scored a #7 and a #70 on the Hottest 100.
And Wafia was more than good with her song 'I'm Good' hitting the #14 spot, from what I gather from reading in that news article above.
And these other
Queensland artists landed a spot on the Hottest 100, as well.

Jaws (1975)
The Amity Affliction?!
Synch, Swim or Shimmer? Part 1
Well, if nothing else, Triple J's Hottest 100 is still keeping me out of the water after listening to most of those Queensland artists songs.
Maybe they've all read Lynch's book?-)
