Beltane: As Above, So Below and See You on the Other Side?

Beltane, which occurs on May 1st, is the celebration of fertility and the encouragement of the world coming back to life.
It is halfway between the
Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice ... that's if you live in the northern part of the planet on the other side of the world, but where I live (Australia) it is more like
Samhain instead of Beltane.
The "as above, so below" thing just doesn't play out for southern earth dwellers trying to sync up with northern earth dwellers when it comes to the Wheel of the Year, because we are either six months behind, or six months in front of you northern planet dwellers when it comes to the seasons and cycles of the year.
I like to think we are in front, to be honest:-)
It's really chaos when trying to sync to you northerners from down here in the southern part of the planet:-)
Anyway, it was still good listening to my friends in the north with their latest 'See You on the Other Side' podcast with guest Zita Christian -

Ritual without intent is just routine.” Zita Christian
The May Queen and May Day?
We should be carving pumpkins and trick or treating down here, not celebrating spring as we go into winter.
So "as above, so below" doesn't always pan out when it comes to the world of seasonal celebrations on planet earth.
