50 Years Later and Everybody's Still Talkin'?

TIME to stop talkin'?
""Everybody's Talkin'" is a song written and recorded by singer-songwriter Fred Neil in 1966 and released by himself two years later.
A version of the song performed by Harry Nilsson became a hit in 1969, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and winning a Grammy Award after it was featured in the film
[Two Minutes to?-] Midnight Cowboy.
The song, which describes the singer's desire to retreat from other people to the ocean, is among the most famous works of both artists, and has been covered by many other notable performers. The song later appeared in the 1994 film Forrest Gump and is also on the film's soundtrack album."
Every TV show you watch and magazine or newspaper you read is full of a lot of talk about TIME and NOW with very little action behind the words.
It's pretty sad I think that as much as I like Oprah, a talking head finishes #2 behind the Pope on the
2019 'Mind Body Spirit' 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People List.
God help as all if that is the top 10 on the list.
Rhonda Byrne is #6 on that list, so I'd like to know the secret there;-)

  2. Yeah, I'm a big 'Talking Heads' fan SpeedyT, but those songs I thought went with the post and the subject of talking heads and celebrity figures.
I saw David Byrne do his 'American Utopia' show on the Gold Coast in 2018, so I added a link to that post after you praised the soundtrack of the post above.
And an interesting song in that link SpeedyT.
I hadn't heard that one before, but it kind of reminds me of one of my old Don Henley favourites with all of that talk about Johnny -
