The sun was rising over here in Australia (not that I could see it behind all of the fog), as the sun set on a farcical Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, where the rain poured down throughout.

I thought I had tuned into the Sydney Gay Madi Gras Parade, rather than an Olympic Games Opening ... at least they have better floats in Sydney, if you are into that sort of thing ... which I'm not.
