| The Night of the Iguana (1964) |
I see that today was 'National Iguana Awareness Day' so I've left it a bit late in the day as I write this post up to watch 'The Night of the Iguana', so I may just have to make do by watching Wall of Voodoo's music video 'Mexican Radio' where an iguana is mentioned;-)
'The Night of the Iguana' was released in 1964, the Year of the Dragon, so now Jake Kotze's synch videos 'HURT' part 1 and 2 make even more synchromystic sense to me now, seeing those scenes from the movie spliced into the videos of his below.
September 8th is also 'Star Trek Day' and while I'm not a fan of 'Star Trek' many people are on this planet we live on, so it only interests me on a pop cultural level as to why so many people do like 'Star Trek'.
