Sonny Curtis Who Wrote 'Love is All Around', the Theme Song for The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Passes Away the Same Week as Robert Redford Who Directed 'Ordinary People'?📺🎬

Which makes Mary Tyler Moore the common denominator there, I guess?
Released September 19, 1970
Weirdly enoughSonny Curtis passed away 55 years to the day from when The Mary Tyler Moore Show was first released?
Robert Redford Wins Best Directing:
53rd Oscars (1981)
I should point out that the elephant in the room is that David Lynch, the director of 'The Elephant Man' was up against Robert Redford for 'Ordinary People' when Robert won the Best Director Oscar that year, and both of them passed away this year.

UPDATE: September 23rd, 2025
The Sting (1973)
I started watching 'The Sting' the other night on Paramount+, but started to fall in and out of sleep on the couch, so I'll have to watch the rest of the movie today maybe?
But I did notice the film started in the year 1936, which coincidently was the year Robert Redford came into the world:-)
I haven't seen this movie since I was about 11, when I went to the cinema to see the movie with my grandmother.
I forgot that Robert Shaw from JAWS was in 'The Sting'.
And I had only just seen the 50th anniversary screening of JAWS a few weeks ago -
