National Indoor Plant Week Ends Today?🪴

I don't have any indoor plants since I gave my sister my only indoor (Robert) plant when I was heading for three weeks in America earlier this year -

A baby photo of my plant, Robert:-)
Unfortunately, my sister decided to give Robert Plant a prune and he never recovered, so he is probably planted somewhere along the Stairway to Heaven right now:-)
My 1996 American Dime I brought back
I found a dime with the date of 1996 on it (not to mention plants on the coin;-), when I was going through my souvenirs that I had brought back from America, which is weird to me personally, as being a Brisbane Lions supporter, with my team playing in the AFL Grand Final today I hope it proves to be a lucky omen, as the Brisbane Lions were founded in 1996.
Before 1996 the Brisbane Lions were two separate footy clubs, the Fitzroy Lions and the Brisbane Bears ... the bears being represented by a savage looking koala ... which is NOT a bear, by the way, as most Australians would know.
National Days on Saturday
September 27th, 2025
Ironically, my son who was supposed to be arriving home today to watch the AFL Grand Final on TV with me in Brisbane is still in America right now because his plane was delayed by 3 hours and he only had 2 hours to get to his connecting flight to Australia.
Now he is in New York and coming homing Monday, so I'm watching it all by myself today at home, with not even a plant for company:-(
National Indoor Plant Week
I might have to ask my son to stop in Chicago and get me a plant on the way home;-)

UPDATE: September 28th, 2025
Brisbane Lions produce all-time
grand final boilover to flog Cats
Well, it looks like my dime was a good omen, as the match turned on a dime after halftime after both teams being locked at 36 all, to The Lions running rampant in the last half to win easily.
