| Fall Equinox [Northern Hemisphere] |
"Some cultures regard the autumnal equinox as "mid-autumn", while others with a longer temperature lag treat the equinox as the start of autumn."
Over here in Australia where I am, it's the Spring Equinox, but I see that Asia, which is in around the same part of the planet as Australia, but in the northern part of the planet, celebrates the Autumnal Equinox Day today.
My youngest son is over on the east coast of America where it is still September 22nd ... or maybe it's just turned Tuesday right now, so he could celebrate autumn, but I'll have to wait another 6 months to do that.
So, maybe I'll just have to celebrate my birthday today instead:-)
