I wrote about how I came across this Dutch magazine(Flow)when I went to see a movie about paper planes - PAPER Planes Sync in the FLOW
I came across this article titled Celebrate Today in the magazine from Holland and was amazed to find out it was written about a Brisbane woman named Hailey Bartholomew(that's her in the You Tube right at the top of this post).
I live in Brisbane(well, close enough to Brisbane) and I have never heard of Hailey and her project, so it was rather ironic that a magazine that came from the other side of the world would introduce me to an interesting speaker/writer/photographer who also lived in my hometown.
Sometimes we don't realize the gifts of life that are right in front of us. You can checkout Hailey's website at this link - 365 Grateful I think that you'll be grateful that you did;-)
A friend of mine brought this news story to my attention a short while ago - 10-Year-Old Boy Remembers Past Life as 1930’s Hollywood Actor ""Mom, I have something I need to tell you. I used to be somebody else.” Those were the words that five-year-old Ryan Hammons told his mother as he was being tucked into bed five years ago, according to NBC News’s Today. Ryan reportedly began having vivid nightmares at age four. The next year, Ryan told his mother he wanted to “go home” to Hollywood, and related stories about meeting actress
Rita Hayworth, taking trips to Paris, and dancing on Broadway. The boy said he had once lived on a street with the word “rock” in it. “His stories were so detailed and they were so extensive, that it just wasn’t like a child could have made it up,” the boy’s mother,
Cyndi Hammons, told Today. “Then we found the picture, and it changed everything.” Hammons had gone to the library to investigate her son’s claims when she happened upon a book that contained a still photo of two men from the 1932 film Night After Night, starring Mae West.
“She turns to the page in the book, and I say ‘that’s me, that’s who I was,'” now ten-year-old Ryan told Today. Cyndi Hammons could not find out any more information about the man, so for help, she reportedly approached Dr. Jim Tucker, an associate professor of psychiatry and neurobehavioral sciences at the University of Virginia, who has spent more than ten years studying the phenomenon of reincarnation memories in children. Tucker helped Hammons identify the man in the photo as Marty Martyn, a small-time actor who later became a big-time Hollywood agent. Astonishingly, after examining Ryan, Tucker was reportedly able to confirm55 details
about Martyn’s life that the boy had provided. Martyn had danced on Broadway, traveled to Paris, and even lived on a street with the word “rock” in it: 825 North Roxbury Dr. in Beverly Hills. Ryan was also able to provide details about Martyn’s family that even the man’s own kin had not known. Martyn’s daughter had grown up believing her father had one sister, but Ryan told Tucker that he had had two. Tucker was able to confirm that finding. Ryan also correctly provided details about the number of times Martyn was married, how many children he had, and details about Martyn’s profession. “If you look at a picture of a guy with no lines in a movie, and then tell me about his life, I don’t think many of us would have come up with Marty Martyn life,” Tucker told Today. “Yet Ryan provided many details that really did fit with his life.” In the most bizarre instance of a potential connection, Tucker thought Ryan may have provided an incorrect detail about Martyn’s life when he said he “didn’t see why God would let you get to be 61 and then make you come back as a baby.” Tucker found that Martyn had died in 1964 at the age of 59, not 61. However, after examining old census records, Tucker discovered that Martyn had been born in 1903, not 1905 as his birth certificate claimed, making Ryan’s statement eerily correct."
Oddly enough, I also noticed that Mae West passed away on November 22nd (1980), Constance Cummings passed on November 23rd (2005) and Raft on November 24th(1980).
Now when I saw the news story about the boy who thinks he is a reincarnation of Marty Martyn I had been writing my posts on the synchromystic links in the movie Back to the Future and of course the star of the BTTF films is Michael J Fox, who plays Marty McFly.
"Who the hell is John F.Kennedy?", asks Marty's grandfather in the movie BTTF when Marty travels back to 1955, as you see at the end of the synchromystic clip about BTTF above. Mae
West starred in Night After Nightwith Marty Martyn and passed away on November 22nd, the anniversary of Kennedy's
assassination.
"[Mae
West on Marilyn Monroe]The only gal who came near to me in the sex
appeal department was pretty little Marilyn Monroe. All the others had
were big boobs." JFK was born in MAY(Mae?). I couldn't help thinking about the actors involved in the movieNight After Nightand their synchromystic links in a Six Degrees of Separation kind of way to the Back to the Future movie trilogy.
Interestingly GEORGE Raftdied only two days after Mae West. "Raft died from
leukemia at the age of 79 in Los Angeles, California, on November 24,
1980. Two days earlier, Mae West had died, and their bodies were at one
point alongside each other in the hallway of the same mortuary at the
same time."
Wynne Gibson also starred in a movie called Double Cross, which coincidentally is the name of Giancana's book above.
It
gets weirder with this Night After Night film because on the Wiki
page for the movie is written,
"Although Night After Night is not a
comedy, it has many comedic moments, especially with the comic relief of
West, who plays a supporting role in her
screen debut. West portrays a fictionalized version of Texas Guinan and
the film remains primarily remembered as the launching pad for her
career. Raft campaigned to cast his friend and former employer Guinan
herself but the studio opted for West since she was nine years younger. Raft believed that the part would have launched a major film career for
Guinan, which proved to be the case for West instead. (West was
reportedly a fan of Guinan and incorporated some of the flamboyant
Guinan's ideas into her own acts)." Mary Louise Cecilia "Texas" Guinan
passed away on NOVEMBER 5TH!?(January 12, 1884 – November 5, 1933)
I had a friend named Noah(of all people) remark about the synchronicities he was having involving flying fish.
And while I thought it was interesting, he was running into flying fish imagery in his life, that wasn't applying to my life.
One of my favourite t-shirts that I own. To me the lighthouse is Cape Byron
Lifeboats and being lost at sea and looking for guidance from a source beyond me is my thing at the moment(I'm going through a separation right now), so I decided to pick up a book resting on my bookcase which I had bought at the Byron Bay Writers Festivallast year called 'The Lifeboat'byZacharey Jane, and right on the very first page "flying fish" are mentioned in the story.
Bigflying fishI had to walk under to see 'Between Two Worlds' atGOMA.
I also bought David Lynch's book and CD titled 'Catching the Big Fish', which is about tapping the subconscious/Collective Unconscious for guidance and using it in your life (which I see as the beam of light from the lighthouse, offering guidance to lost travelers on the seas of the dark conscious reality, with the unknown lapping at the edges of the boat).
Cape Byron lighthouse
'The Lifeboat'byZacharey Jane is about, "A man and a woman are found at sea in pirate-infested waters, with no memory of who they are or how they got there". I must say that I really liked this book as one long metaphorical story about memory and tapping into the subconscious/Collective Unconscious and using it as guidance.
As a straight out novel the story would be a bit mediocre, but as a meditative act of reading and pondering about life, it is right up there with any of Paulo Coelho's novels. Read about my Paulo Coelho encounter here - A Monocled Monk Swimming
You can hear Zacharey Jane talk about The Lifeboaton this radio podcast at around the 20 minute mark - http://mpegmedia.abc.net.au/rn/podcast/2008/04/bsw_20080430.mp3 "Washing up on a remote shore without memory, without a past and with
nothing but a stranger for company—that's the fate of two characters in The Lifeboat, a new book from novelist Zacharey Jane. The Lifeboat asks whether we are who we are because of our accumulated experiences, or is there some intrinsic core that defines us?" Zacharey Jane and the sense of self

I first saw Zacharey Jane in 2013 at the Byron Bay Writers Festival when she chaired a talk about performance anxiety with some other authors. In fact, you can hear the pod-cast of that talk at this link - Performance Anxiety: Putting It Out There, Live
I also saw Zacharey Jane chair another talk at the 2014 BBWF called "Our Story: Film and National Identity". This is when I decided to buy Zacharey Jane's book The Lifeboat, although it would sit unopened until just after my friend Noah mentioning the flying fish synchs.

Fish seem to be flying everywhere around me at the moment as I make sense of the shipwreck of my 26 year marriage sink into the abyss from my lifeboat.
They say it takes two to tango, but the reality is that we are all dancing with ourselves in life, so we better get to know ourselves better to make our way through life's rough seas.

Time for me to catch the "Big Fish" I think, never-mind all those other fish people tell you about when a relationship sinks.
"Makes promises she can't keep With the wink of an eye
Bad blood";-)
I can't help wondering if Neil Sedaka had a premonition about Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" song when he had a hit with his own "Bad Blood" song back in 1975;-)
Bad Blood
It could've been me but it was you
Who went and bit off a little bit more than he could chew
You said that you had it made, but you been had
The woman no good, no how, thinkin' maybe the blood is bad
Bad blood (Bad blood)
The woman was born to lie
Makes promises she can't keep
With the wink of an eye
Bad blood (Bad blood)
Brother, you've been deceived
It's bound to change you mind
About all you believe
From where I stand, it looks mighty strange
How you let a woman like that treat you like small change
I don't understand what you're lookin' to find
The only thing bad blood do is mess up a good man's mind
Hear me talkin' now
Bad blood (Bad blood)
The bitch is in her smile
The lie is on her lips
Such an evil child
Bad blood (Bad blood)
Is takin' you for a ride
The only thing good about bad blood
Is lettin' it slide
Doo-ron, doo-ron, di di, dit, dit, ron-ron
Doo-ron, doo-ron, di di, dit, dit, ron-ron
Doo-ron, doo-ron, di di, dit, dit, ron-ron
Bad blood, talkin' 'bout bad blood
Doo-ron, doo-ron, di di, dit, dit, ron-ron
Doo-ron, doo-ron, di di, dit, dit, ron-ron
Doo-ron, doo-ron, di di, dit, dit, ron-ron
Bad blood
Here we go
Bad blood (Bad blood)
The bitch is in her smile
The lie is on her lips
Such an evil child
Bad blood (Bad blood)
Is takin' you for a ride
The only thing good about bad blood
Is lettin' it slide
