April and Endgames?

Endgame?
Katherine Langford (born 29 April 1996) the star of the Netflix series '13 Reasons Why' also stars in the movie 'Avengers: Endgame', which as Jake Kotze points out in his Instagram pictured above comes out in the month of April.
I've never watched '13 Reasons Why', but I stumbled across a podcast today called 'Aussies in Hollywood' when I put Nicole Kidman's name in the iTunes search engine (but that's for a future post) and did a bit of binge listening to some episodes at the site while doing housework.
One of those podcast episodes was an interview with Katherine Langford who recounts growing up in Perth, Australia and going to school with Heath Ledger's half-sister -
AUSSIES IN HOLLYWOOD: KATHERINE LANGFORD
Tomorrow is April 1st, or as we Aussies call it April Fool's Day.
There is also an interview with Luke Davies the writer of the novel and screenplay for the Heath Ledger movie 'Candy' -
AUSSIES IN HOLLYWOOD: LUKE DAVIES
Christian Bale and Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight (2008)
"April Fools' Day or April Fool's Day (sometimes called All Fools' Day) is an annual celebration commemorated on April 1 by playing practical jokes and spreading hoaxes.
The jokes and their victims are called April fools.
People playing April Fool jokes often expose their prank by shouting "April fool(s)" at the unfortunate victim(s).
Some newspapers, magazines and other published media report fake stories, which are usually explained the next day or below the news section in smaller letters."
This time last year I was at Bluesfest, but Bluesfest ain't on the cards for me this year for the first time in many years -

Life is a Fool's journey it seems ... for me anyway:-)

Carl Jung, Hauntings and Paranormal Coincidences?

"Doug Dillon is a meditator, paranormal explorer, author, and former educator.
In his previous life as an educator, he served as a classroom teacher, high-risk student coordinator and finally as Director of Staff Development and Volunteer Services for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Florida.
Doug writes for both adults and young people, mostly in the areas of history and the paranormal.
He has written for Prentice Hall, Harcourt, Boys’ Life, Learning Magazine, the Orlando Sentinel, Mitchell Lane Publishers and Old St. Augustine Publications.
Carl Jung, Hauntings and Paranormal Coincidences is Doug’s most recent nonfiction book.
His first literary effort in that same field of investigation was co-authored years ago with his wife, Barbara, and published by an imprint of Prentice Hall. Titled, An Explosion of Being: An American Family’s Journey into the Psychic.
This book caught enough national interest for Doug and Barb to do radio shows across the United States, a great many of them taking calls from audience members.
Capitalizing on his work with teenagers, and his experience with the strange and unusual, Doug is in the process of completing a young adult, paranormal/historical fiction series titled, The St. Augustine Trilogy.
In those books, of course, coincidences abound as teens Jeff and Carla struggle to understand being inundated by weird events in the oldest and most haunted city in the United States, St. Augustine, FL.
Books 1 & 2, Sliding Beneath the Surface and Stepping Off a Cliff, have already been published. Book 3, Targeting Orion’s Children, is still being written."

The Bunnies in Jordan Peele's 'Us' are Ruining Easter for People?

Follow the blue bunny?
I just picked up a recent Aldi catalogue out of my junk mail pile and couldn't help wondering if the people behind the catalogue weren't giving a wink to the recent Jordan Peele movie 'US'.

Ironically Peele voices the bunny in 'Toy Story 4':-)
And Jordan had to go and ruin Michael Jackson's music for me as well, didn't he?-)
Maybe that should be the 'Toy Story 4' blue bunny?-)
Happy Easter;-)

Fraser Island Drownings?!

"Two 16-year-old Japanese nationals have drowned on Fraser Island, north of Brisbane, Queensland police say.
Police said the boys were reported missing from a tour group near
Lake McKenzie just after 5:00pm on Friday.
Local officers, swift-water rescue crews,
State Emergency Service officers and the Rural Fire Service and helicopters were involved in the search at Fraser Island."

That's the same lake Harry visited without Meghan by his side when they stayed on Fraser Island last year, and that I wrote about in this post -

Fungi, Trees and the Trippy World of Humans?

HOW AND WHY TO DO MUSHROOMS
It's been a trippy week for me personally in my synchromystic eyes and I haven't even had any mushrooms ... ever ... well not those kind of mushrooms anyway.
It all started when I listened just over a week ago to Gordon White at 'Rune Soup' talk to Dr Monica Gagliano about her book on plant communication -
Thus Spoke the Plant?
Then I heard a talk featuring Monica again on the ABC's 'Big Ideas' podcast during the week -
Can trees talk and think?
Then there was this weird tree story in the news during the week where I'll bet that young boy pictured above had wished that the tree had have communicated to him that it was going to pop back up again -
12yo Queensland boy was crushed under fallen tree that sprang upright after severe storm
Then the next day I listened to another podcast at ABC's 'Big Ideas' podcast about fungi -
Fungi for a healthy planet
I had already written a post about an American actress named Denise DuBarry who passed away from a rare fungal disease -
Denise DuBarry and the 23 Enigma?
And on the subject of trees, Denise was in the Peter Sellers movie 'Being There' where Sellers plays a gardener called Chance.
Denise was also reported to be known for appearing on the TV show 'The Love Boat' and around the time of her passing a Norwegian cruise liner was in the news, too.
Then Gordon White posts his latest podcast for people outside of Australia in the countries where mushrooms are legal to trip on, right Gordon?-)
Who needs to take mushrooms to trip out in this weird world that we live in?-)
