While reading the above book, which is not just about watching waves at sea, but all sorts of waves, such as sound, brain, air wave etc, I read this passage about the spiral waves on brain neurons;
"Wu speculates, these brain waves might rotate over the neocortex...
detaching reasoning faculties from the stimulation of the thalamus and thereby allowing the animal to drift off to sleep" .
Maybe the image of the tornado to Oz was something that was picked up subconsciously by the author and film makers of this story?
That one cloud resembles a lenticular cloud. Very interesting post, Daz. Symbols are duplicated in many places.
