Woolworths Introducing NEW Disney Ooshies!

I picked up my local newspaper on August 26th to see full page ads on pages two and three, and the back of the paper telling parents and children how to let the black eyed characters into your home:-)

I don't think I'd be too keen on seeing a black eyed Russell from the movie 'UP' standing on my front porch asking to be let inside my house:-)

So what a time in 2020 for the two big Australian Supermarket chains to market their collectibles to their customers and their children, right?

I thought it was interesting that the Black Widow and Scarlet Witch are right next to each other in the Ooshie newspaper ad, as
Scarlett Johansson plays the Black Widow (a movie that has its release date pushed back because of Covid cinema restrictions) and Elizabeth Olsen who plays Scarlet Witch is from Sherman Oaks, California.

Sharman Oaks says he calls himself Sharman Oaks because he lived in Sherman Oaks:-)

Justin Townes Earle Dies at 38?

"Justin Townes Earle, an acclaimed singer-songwriter in the Americana/alt-country field and the son of Steve Earle, has died at age 38, according to an announcement on his social media accounts."

This news hit me harder than most this past week, as I've met Justin's father Steve a few times over the years and have fond memories Steve's live performances at the Byron Bay Blues Fest -

I can't imagine the emotional pain of outliving my own sons, so my heart goes out to you Steve.  
I think Justin's cover of Bruce's 'Atlantic City' is quite apt, as I strongly believe that, "And maybe everything dies, baby, that's a fact, but maybe everything that dies someday comes back..."
Although, that's probably not much comfort when you have to deal with the events surrounding this life first.

The date of the 13th of September would have meant nothing to me back in 2010, but in 2016 when my father died on that date it has since lodged into my memory as one of those dates I can't forget -

A few days later I heard a podcast featuring Gary Lachman talking about a book he was writing about dreams and precognition, where he talked about a woman dreaming of picking up a hedgehog from the road, only to see an Instagram post about saving the hedgehog when she awoke.

So who is right about Boseman's age?
His IMDB page says he is born in 1977, but his Wikipedia page says he was born in 1976.

The same news article can't even decide exactly how old Chadwick Boseman was.

UPDATE: August 30th, 2020

Well surprise, surprise, it looks like Wikipedia was right for once, as Chadwick Boseman's IMDB page has been changed overnight to push his birthday back one year making him 43 years old at the time of his passing.
The conflict over his age between IMDB and Wikipedia still makes the number 42 a synchromystic number surrounding Chadwick's life and acting career I think.
