You Can Never Have Too Much Vegemite in Australia?🥡🌏

I bought a packet of Shapes Vegemite and Cheese buiscuits at an Australian supermarket recently, which were mainly in the shape of the Australian mainland, with the odd shape of the Australian state of Tasmania thrown in.
When you place the two shapes together though, they look more like a map of Africa:-)
As for the
Vegemite taste of the Shapes, I wouldn't know they were
Vegemite flavoured, if I hadn't read it on the packet.
I even found a packet of
Vegemite flavoured noodles at 'The Reject Shop', which seemed rather apt, as I couldn't taste the Vegemite flavoured noodles tasting like Vegemite either, until I put real Vegemite into the mix.
And as much as I like
Vegemite, do they have to try and put it into everything you eat or drink?

The Dalai Lama and The Camino?⛪😇

While I like Buddhism, I'm more into East Asian Buddhism than Tibetan Buddhism.

But I had to laugh while reading Shirley MacLaine's 2000 book 'The Camino' where she writes about meeting the current Dalai Lama in Brazil in '92 and how she wrote that the Dalai Lama was always coming back to do the same thing, like reading an important book over and over:-)
I don't recall seeing Shirley on many top 100 spiritual lists lately.

Richard Bach Came to Me from Out of the Blue? 📖👀

I stumbled upon these books above in a street library named 'Daisy Chain' when my son was giving all of his Stephen King books away to various street libraries around Brisbane and surrounding areas.
The funny thing was that I was telling my son when he told me about how Stephen King wrote novels under various names like Richard Bachman, that the guy who wrote Jonathan Livingston Seagull was named Richard Bach and that King probably ripped the name off him and just added the man to it.
Jonathan Livingston Seagull?
King claims that he the name Richard Bachman because he was listening to Bachman–Turner Overdrive at the time his publisher asked him to pick a name.

I might need some of those Third Eye Drops myself?-)

Ozmopolitan?🌈🍹🥠🍕

I went to see the movie 'Wicked' with my youngest son (he's 30) on Wednesday, as we had planned on seeing the movie 'Heretic', but found out it didn't start until Thursday.
We were going to use the voucher my oldest son and his partner gave me to use for this particular movie chain and watch a movie in a premium cinema.
Since 'Heretic' wasn't on at the cinema Wednesday, we decided on seeing 'Wicked' instead.
We hadn't had lunch and seeing a movie on an empty stomach can be as bad as going grocery shopping on an empty stomach ... but maybe worse?
As I was paying for the movie tickets with my birthday voucher, I saw the Ozmopolitan menu displayed on the counter and told my son I'd shout him lunch.
We shared a Margherita Pizza and ordered a desert each, and since he was driving, I ordered myself a 'Pink Goes Good with Green' cocktail.
Most Ozzies can't say no to a drink or two:-)
'Pink Goes Good with Green' cocktail
It seemed a bit different to the advertised menu at the bar, but it was OK, although a little bit pricey.
'Choose Your Destiny Delight'
Couldn't get a good picture of my desert without using a flash.
As for the movie ... meh!
You get half the story, and it ends when the Wicked witch flies off with the flying monkeys.
Hmm.
November 22nd seems a rather loaded date to release a movie?
Trump's second term should be well under way when the second movie is released, I would imagine -

A Beautiful Day or Complete Bollocks?🦋 ⛅💩

I bought two little "motivation" books from an Op Shop recently, one was a new-agey book published in 2004 called 'A Beautiful Day' by Lynn Champion.
And the other was a little book that seemed to be taking the piss out of little books like Lynn's by a "comedian" named Alistair Beaton who published a book called 'The Little Book of Complete Bollocks' around the end of the 90s.
Alistair was more likely taking the piss out of 'The Little Book of Calm'since he does mention it in one of his motivations:-)
I was thinking that maybe Lynn should follow up her 'A Beautiful Day' book with another book using colourful moths instead of butterflies and call it 'A Beautiful Night'.
Moth or Butterfly?🦋🔍
Moths are Yin to the butterfly's Yang to me.
Ironically, the day I spotted the
moth in my backyard was the day that I was telling my son about the tree guy I had hired to clear out most of the tall trees in my backyard, so I could plant a more manageable garden, and was also the day we were dumping my old armchairs at the dump, to make way for his couch, as he was moving in with me.
I wrote about reading such books in my backyard a few years back, but now the jungle has gotten out of hand and new fences need building as the old ones fall apart -
It's going to take a good 6 months to rebuild my garden I would imagine.
Before and ...
It certainly will be interesting to see how many moths and butterflies fly in my backyard in the next 6 months, now that it looks deforested.
... after
I guess life is all about transformation ... day or night?
I might have to place a yellow brick path through the backyard?-)
I found that 'The Little Book of Complete Bollocks' mainly sucked and wasn't very funny at all.
More sucky advice from
'The Little Book of Complete Bollocks'
I ended up giving both books away to
a street library down the road in an act of decluttering my home:-)
I bought this recently, so it's just one more thing to
de-clutter-fy
down the road, along with my books, I guess?-)
