Prophetic Scene from the Movie "Angriest Man in Brooklyn"

This was a scene and quote from the movie, The Angriest Man in Brooklyn (which I just viewed for the first time today).
Oddly enough, that scene in the movie takes place at the 1:11:48 mark of the DVD, according to my computer's DVD count, and Williams died on 11/8/14 (or 8/11/14, as Americans would write the date).
All of those numbers, although jumbled around in the timer count, make up all of the numbers in the date Robin would die on.
Spooky, or what?

Ice Bucket Challenge?
Doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Oddly enough, the guy who is credited starting the
Ice Bucket Challenge, Corey Griffin, would drown in a freak accident only five days after Williams took his own life.
Co-founder of “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge” drowns at age 27
"Philanthropist Corey Griffin died on Aug. 16 at the age of 27
Griffin helped co-found the viral “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge,”
which has swept across the world this summer.
The young man began actively raising money to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, after his friend Pete Frates was diagnosed, the Boston Globe reported.
Griffin drowned off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts, in a diving accident.
At 2:00 a.m. he dove from the top of Juice Guys —
a popular diving spot for locals, located on the Straight Wharf
He apparently surfaced once, but was then pulled under by the waves"
I couldn't help but think of this old Sync Whole logo when I heard about the ice-bucket guy drowning.
The guy drowning on the logo looks like he is drowning in a bucket, too.
Here’s another sync.
Remember how Robin Williams died when a “Family Guy” episode that had the main character turning everyone he touched into different versions of Robin Williams movie characters until he decided the only way out of this dilemma was to kill himself?
Well, the main character’s name in that show is Peter Griffin and the ice bucket guy who died was named Corey Griffin.

Family Guy character Peter Griffin
" Peter Griffin is a working class Irish American, who is an
overweight blue collar worker with a prominent Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts accent.
Peter primarily worked as a safety inspector at the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory, until his boss Jonathan Weed choked to death on a dinner roll;
he then became a fisherman on his own boat, known as the "S.S. More Powerful than Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and  The Incredible Hulk Put Together."
Death of a Pop-eye-con?
In a running gag, storylines are randomly interrupted by extremely long, unexpected fights between Peter and Ernie the Giant Chickenan anthropomorphic chicken who serves as a rival to Peter.

Death Has a Shadow  is the pilot episode of the animated series Family Guy
It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States after Super Bowl XXXIII on January 31, 1999
The episode is based on series creator Seth MacFarlane's original pitch to Fox, The Life of Larry, and is a remake of the original Family Guy pilot. "
I also found it interesting that Williams was in a TV show called The Crazy Ones where he plays a character named Simon Roberts and Sarah Michelle Gellar plays his daughter Sydney.
Sydney is my middle name by the way;-)
Sarah was in a movie based on a semi-autobiographical Paulo Coelho book called Veronika Decides to Die.
"The story centers on Veronika, a woman in her mid-twenties who appears to have everything: good looks, good job and a great life ahead of her.
Yet she decides to end her own life
She is unsuccessful and awakens in a mental hospital where she learns that she a short time to live.
However, in the hospital she meets people who are only 'insane' because they don't always follow society's rules
With little left to lose, Veronika embarks on a journey on which she frees herself to experience relationships and emotions and ultimately discovers what it means to live."

Now, as luck, or coincidence would have it, I meet Paulo at a writers festival in Brisbane years ago, before he was so big in the book world, and got to chat with him and he told me the reason he had the butterfly tattoo on his forearm.
The funny thing was I didn't go to see, or speak to Paulo
He just happened to be in the group of authors doing a talk
which included the author I went to see and hear.
A Monocled Monk Swimming
The movie The Angriest Man in Brooklyn marks the return of Phil Alden Robinson in directing a movie, after twelve years of absence.
Phil is probably most famous as director and writer of the Kevin Costner film, Field of Dreams.
Hmm.
Six Degrees of Kevin Costner
James Earl Jones who played Terrance Mann in the movie Field of Dreams, also plays the part of a man with a speech impediment in a phone shop in The Angriest Man in Brooklyn.
I guess all this weirdness just goes to show that
... or at least more like Tarot;-)
These are just some of my favourite

There will be a post to follow soon on the Nimbin museum, Tarot and The Path.

  1. Whoa...that's a brilliant set of syncs! The whole Robin Williams 'vector-gram' sync is just amazing lately. I've been reading a few other blogs including Twilight language and it's freaking me out yet again!

  2. Yes,real life is much stranger than fiction for those willing to take a good look at it.And then I'm sure there is a lot more waiting to be seen outside of our visual spectrum,so to speak.

  3. Awesome, Daz. You really are some sort of synchro detective.
