I now work for a health food and products distributor
who actually move a lot of soap, funnily enough,
considering the movie Fight Club
and the scene in this You Tube Clip .
Room 237 made by a fellow syncer/sinker Rodney Ascher.
and noticed the bottle I had in my hand contained 237ml,
(which is what we use in Oz/Australia)

I got this reply from Alan Green when I posted this photo in
The Kitchen Sync Facebook group with a comment about the 237ml measurement -
"my wife and I use Dr. Bronner's too (also Peppermint)!
I swear I've considered doing some sync article on the crazy label."
I also decided to buy a cherry scented bar soap for my bathroom sink.
I noticed on one side of the bar was the words ALL ONE.
I remember thinking what a contrast that was to the FIGHT CLUB soap.
"When the narrator first meets Tyler, Tyler declares that he is a soap salesman, although Tyler has various other occupations including a night-time movie projectionist and a waiter.
Tyler, however, most identifies himself with the job of selling soap, thus lending weight to the symbolic importance played by soap in the movie.

He also uses lye, a chemical ingredient of soap, to introduce the narrator to the pain of "premature enlightenment."
In this role, soap is a symbol of purification and cleanliness, of a culture lacking the hypocrisy and fraudulence of contemporary culture.
However, in that Tyler makes soap by stealing fat from the liposuction clinic dumpsters and then sells these soaps "to department stores for $20 a bar", soap also represents a too highly refined culture, a culture where all traces of natural humanity are suppressed, effaced, washed off.
Rather than being made from the "ashes of heroes", soap is made from
"selling rich women their own fat asses."
The fact that Tyler is a salesman for this product represents Jack's subservience to this culture. Fight Club is founded as a way for men to regain their primitive instinct that culture tries to wash off."

Then just after getting a reply from Alan about the peppermint soap, on my Facebook feed I get notified that Say Lou Lou have a new song called Peppermint.
Which reminds me The Sweet performed a song at their Brisbane concert this year called Peppermint Twist.
A song they said they were surprised to see go to number 1 in Australia when they first released it.
What do you think the odds are of the soap being peppermint smelling in the Ballroom Bathroom?-)

Dr. Bronner's soap bottles are covered in really strange religious quotes too, like this one in the photo below.
Dr. Bronner might have been a strange guy, but I do like the ethics behind his company and soap products.
One last tip though, don't buy the shaving cream.
It's as good as it looks, if you get my drift.

on the CD playlist.
You have to wait a few minutes and then it starts playing.
The song is Let It Snow .

I wrote the above post and posted it early May 28th, Australian time and about 24 hours later on May 29th (Australian time) I see on the news that a guy jumped onto the Red Carpet and punched Brad Pitt in the face.
I can't believe how synchy this is.
