The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance."

Why Does Backrooms Remind Me of IKEA?🏬🤔💭

I saw the movie 'Backrooms' on Tuesday in the biggest cinema in the complex with only 4 people in the whole cinema, including me.
And one older lady (older than me that is) walked out halfway through the movie and didn't return for some reason, but I loved this movie and will see it again before its cinema run is over, if I can.
'Backrooms' is like a moving painting in an art gallery and is a work of art to see on the big screen, in my opinion.
Who said Hollywood is dead?
Oh, that's right, Chris Knowles at his 'The Secret Sun' blog:-)
But who am I to disagree with a master "synchromystic" from all the way up here in the peanut gallery?-)

How to Celebrate World Franchise Day on Action Anxiety Day?💰🍔😟💸🤑

This year 'World Franchise Day' falls on 'Action Anxiety Day', which I'm sure a lot of franchisees could probably relate to.
You wouldn't get me sinking my life savings into buying into a franchise, as I've heard too many financial horror stories from former owners of them.
Like 'Pie Face' for example.

Turtles All the Way Down (2024)
Having just read the
John Green novel 'Turtles All the Way Down' and watched the movie adaption, I couldn't help thinking of the '
Applebee's' and 'Chuck E. Cheese' franchises mentioned in the book and if there were any in Australia.
Although, 'Chuck E. Cheese' is changed to some fake franchise name in the movie.
I remembered there was a 'Chuck E. Cheese' type restaurant in Brisbane in the 80s, which closed down after a few years, so I looked up the company's Wikipedia page and see there is now one in Perth on the other side of the country to me-
"In 1981, the restaurant opened its first international franchise in Australia under the name Charlie Cheese's Pizza Playhouse. The name change had to do with the common meaning of the word "chuck," which in Australia is a reference to the phrase "to throw up." The first location, located in Surfer's Paradise, Queensland, relocated in 1982 to a location in Carina, Queensland, which closed by the mid-1980s. In January 2024, it was announced that Chuck E. Cheese would be making its return to Australia with a multi-unit franchise partnership with Royale Hospitality Group, and announced in March 2025 that the first location will be opening in Perth, Western Australia. In August 2025, the franchise announced the location would be opening in Joondalup, a suburb of Perth, on September 6, 2025."
Hungry Jack's opened their first store in Perth and it's still open, so if I get over to Perth, I might have to check out that store and Australia's only 'Chuck E. Cheese'.
But I won't be buying into either franchise anytime soon:-)

How to Celebrate National Ballpoint Pen Day?🖊🥳

When it comes to
ball point pens, I'm quite happy with a cheap Bic pen from my local supermarket, but my old mate Remo says he always carries a 'Fisher Space Pen' as part of his uniform, according to his 2014 book 'General Thinker'.

If I ever meet Remo in real life, I'll ask to borrow his pen to write something to see if I'm impressed with his
'Fisher Space Pen' as he is.
I only have a BIC 4-Color Pen in my car to use as a fail-safe if one colour doesn't write for some reason when I need to write something down when I'm out driving around.
I noticed that the judges on the Disney+ series 'Battle of Fates' used the BIC 4-Color Pen or an imitation of one, when marking the fate of the contestants.
I must rewatch that series again soon.

I don't like carrying a pen on me, but I do have cups of them around the home and a BIC 4-Color Pen in my car console.
Call it F88 I guess?-)

Voices from the Liminal and The Business of Woo?💰🤑💸

I watched
/listened to the above You Tube featuring Rachel White talking about her new book 'The Business of Woo', and while the book itself doesn't interest me, as I don't want to make a business out of woo, I liked the talk, as Rachel seems to have an interest in Chinese astrology and eastern culture, like I do, she even talks about the Shinto "religion" of Japan, which is something I haven't really looked into at this point, but am curious to find out more, from a cultural perspective more than becoming a follower of it.
Oddly enough, a 'Conversations' podcast episode hit my Apple Podcast playlist suggesting that I might like to take a listen to this latest episode below that aired on local radio on Monday, and I'm not even subscribed to the 'Conversations' podcast anymore.
And I'm interested now in seeing where Rachel White (AKA The Skeptical Shaman) is headed in the future on her quest.

Love Take Two: Signs, Synchronicities, and Purpose?🌈💔💘🎬

Every June
I found the above 'Love Take Two' podcast episode last night when I did an Apple Podcast search for podcast episodes about "Synchronicities" along with a few other ones, which I had to listen to today as I fell asleep after listening to the 'Love Take Two' podcast episode.
I liked the 'Love Take Two' podcast episode for a number of reasons.
Bryce Ziskin on Spirit Signs,
Synchronicities, and Purpos
e
Especially when José mentioned that he was born prematurely on February 14th (AKA Valentine's Day ... AKA Ferris Wheel Day ... AKA my sister's birthday:-), as I just wrote a post mentioning that date.
Stop the Mental Loop and Get Out of the Downward Spiral?🌟🔭
Plus,
José mentioned an album by RAYE called 'This Music May Contain Hope', which he said is an album you he has to listen to from beginning to end once he puts it on the turntable/CD player/phone or whatever he plays it on.

Synchronicities, and Purpose
I'd not heard of the album or
RAYE until José mentioned them on the podcast, but I did just write a post about 'Audacity to Hope Day' recently -
Then they start talking about
#8 synchs and the show 'Medium' starring
Patricia Arquette, who was born on April 8th, the same as my dad, and the date his mother passed on (all different years though).
