I bought a bottle of Doña Celia tequila at my local bottle shop today, as well as grabbing a burger and fries (although I ordered onion rings, not fries ... it pays to check your order before driving off) in the drive thru of my local Hungry Jack's on the way home from work.

I also listened to this 'The Nature of Nurture' podcast episode above about dying on a day that celebrates tequila, fast food and self-care ironically:-) 

I didn't realize these Doña Celia tequila bottles were hand painted originals until I watched the You Tube at the top of this post.

When I have finished drinking the tequila in the bottle, I will place the bottle on top of my bookcase in the "living" room.

And maybe next year on Tequila Day I'll buy another bottle to place at the other end of the bookcase ...if I'm still alive by then that is;-)

I couldn't help but think of my late mate Gordon White and his last note on his 'Rune Soup' Substack, today as I was drinking my tequila and looking at the bottle I poured it from.

Also, thinking of my mother who passed away (died) this year as well, and all the other people in my family who passed before me over the years.

I noticed that there were a lot of hits today on an old post I wrote titled 'Dolphin Dreaming: Breath' about my late brother (and now father and mother) where Gordon left a comment.

I was glad that I had ice cream in the fridge, which I bought yesterday to celebrate 'National Vanilla Ice Cream Day':-)

I've seen the movie twice already and have a ticket for next week to see it in a DBox cinema with my son, who has also seen the movie twice now.

I had not watched 'S. Darko' until today, when I found a You Tube that someone had uploaded.

It is a mess of a film for sure, but at the same time kind of syncromystic in hindsight, with the death of the film's main actress Daveigh Chase happening a few weeks before the 250th 4th of July celebrations in the Year of the Horse.

Daveigh Chase would have turned 36 on July 24th this year, meaning that she was born in 1990, the Year of the Horse.

This movie centres around to the countdown of a 4th of July celebration where the world would end.

With the closing credits of the film rolling to the Couteau Twins song 'Heaven or Las Vegas' and with Daveigh Chase being born in Las Vegas (according to her Wiki page), it's amazing that the great self-professed "synchromystic" Chris Knowles of 'The Secret Sun' blog isn't all over this movie at the moment.

Knowles tuned 60 himself this year I see, making him a Fire Horse:-)

SPOILER ALERT, Samantha Darko is killed in a car crash incident in the movie, then time is reversed and her friend is then killed in one of the cars that killed Samantha Darko in the first place.

After I had watched this movie, I saw the news of Kaylee Hottle killed in a car crash.
