How to Celebrate Intergenerational Week?ðŸ‘ķ🍞ðŸ‘ī👞

I saw on the 'Angels and Demons' blog that Chris Knowles was bragging at his 'The Secret Sun' blog about being on 'The Occult Rejects' podcast, so I had a listen while I was writing up a post for my own blog and couldn't help laughing at what a grumpy old man Chris is turning into with his attacks on Gen Alpha and Gen Boomers, while his own Gen X (-Files?:-) are almost blameless and know where it's at:-)
Bear in mind that Knowles only misses out on being a Boomer himself by being born one to two years earlier than a Boomer like me.

Are You Ready to ULTRA?
The funny thing is Chris posted this during 'Intergenerational Week' and on the 'Days of the Year' website for this week is a Chris Knowles lookalike (but this guy is smiling;-) hugging what I guess are other Gens?

So much of what Chris said on this podcast had me in stiches as to just what an ego maniac this guy has turned into lately.
He even comments how things are disappearing off the web, like all the comments that were once left after all of his old 'The Secret Sun' blog posts from back in the day?-)
Like the old war horse says in the podcast"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it think":-)
Think, right?-)
From what I have heard Chris say and write about himself in the past, I think he turns 60 this year, which would make him a fire horse, ironically:-)
I couldn't help thinking of Chris for some reason as I was listening to the latest 'This Jungian Life' podcast;-)

Everyday Magic & Finding Meaning in the Mundane?🊄ðŸĨąðŸĶ‹ðŸŒˆ

I found these two podcast episodes above by putting the word "synchronicities" into the Apple Podcast search bar.
The 'Pretty Spiritual' one was a bit too Synchronicity 101 for someone like me, but if nothing else I did order Laura Lynne Jackson's 'Signs' book after hearing it mentioned in that podcast episode.

I Wonder If Sting Tried an ANZAC Biscuit This Year? 🍊🐝ðŸĪ”💭

Funnily enough, this time last year I wrote about Sting and 'National Oatmeal Cookie Day' falling on 'International Jazz Day' and this year Sting has been staying in my hometown of Brisbane for most of April starring in his musical 'The Last Ship' at the new Glasshouse Theatre.

How to Celebrate Viral Video Day?ðŸ’ŧðŸ“ąðŸ“ēðŸ“ĩ

I remember about 10 years ago when our BTTF/911 video was going viral then You Tube found a way to kill it off without taking it down ... or so the conspiracy theory goes;-)
BACK TO THE FUTURE predicts 9/11
It's bottomed out at about the 5 million views mark, although parts of it were aired on American TV networks at the time, so is that considered a viral video?
And the star of 'The Walk' and 'Snowden' found it amusing at least:-)
Snowden on Joe Rogan?
I think that REMORANDOM You Tube above has a few more hits to go before it's considered a viral video:-P

Why Do Adults Still Need Fairytales?📖🧚🊄🍎🐍🙈🙉🙊ðŸĩ

God Forbid
The weekend before last the ABC radio re-aired a 2024 episode of 'God Forbid' titled 'Why do adults still need fairytales?', so I had a listen, not ever having listened to it the first time round.
But I listened to it on Apple Podcasts when it dropped onto my playlist on the Friday before it aired on radio that weekend.
I thought this should be interesting listening coming from a religious program, considering how many Christians still believe the story of creation and Adam and Eve are literally true
Not that I have much faith in the "scientific" theory of evolution either.
But I do find it amusing how some people will believe anything people tell them, such as the UFO/alien crowd -
Synchromysticism & Chaos Magick
Or the magick/conspiracy theory crowd for that matter:-)
But we all like a good story, whether true or not ... or even partly true or not.
On the subject of
myths and evolution, I finally found my copy of 'Monkey', which I thought I had given away, as I went looking at the spines of every book in my bookcases looking for this book about a year ago and couldn't find it, but it was in a box of books in my wardrobe it turns out.
So, now I can read it.

The Cloud Appreciation Society and Dragons?⛅🐉👏

I watched the
#28 REMORANDOM You Tube on the weekend when I was writing a post up about the "birthday paradox" and when the You Tube got to the
Cloud Appreciation Society I was surprised that Claudia said she saw a cloud in the form of a dragon (to her eyes at least) in the Year of the Dragon, as I have a Never-ending Story dragon tattooed on my right forearm, because I saw a cloud that looked to me like the Never-ending Story dragon floating over a Taoist temple in 2017.
Every April 25th
I had the dragon tattooed on my arm to celebrate turning 60 in 2024, the Year of the Dragon, because I was born in the Year of the Dragon:-)
Cloud Appreciation
I certainly didn't appreciate the clouds I was seeing in the sky on Sunday, as I was having a fence built on Monday and the rain was hardly stopping on Sunday.
But even though getting the fence built on Monday was looking bleak, the weather fined up for the morning at least and the fence was finished on Tuesday:-)
Much appreciated that the rain clouds stayed mostly away from my house those two days.
Now I can look forward to doing some gardening for the rest of April.
