Funnily enough, I'm now reading C.G. Jung's book about dreams, having read and given that stupid 'Awaken the Dreamscape' book to a street library, where the "Christian" author of that book went on about visiting Western Australia and was horrified to learn that Indigenous Australians "worship" the dreaming serpent:-)
That West Coast Eagles jersey with the serpent at the top of this post is the Indigenous round jersey from one of the years that I bought in a secondhand clothing store that I volunteer in. I never wore it, because it's not the team I support, but I hung it up in my bedroom to remind me to visit the first Hungry Jack's burger joint ever opened in Australia when I was in Perth, which I did - I've since re-donated that WCE serpent jersey back to the secondhand clothing store for someone who wants to wear those colours. According to "The Dream Bible" in my bookcase, "sometimes we see eagles with serpents in their tallons" in dreams, so I find it quite ironic that the West Coast Eagles would have a serpent on one of their Indigenous round jerseys:-) I must say that I don't have much faith in any "Dream Bible", be it a Christian or Pagan one:-)
