All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane? 🎫🎬👏

Yesterday my youngest son and I went to a Q and A screening of the movie 'All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane' at the New Farm Cinemas.
All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane (2026)
So, it was kind of ironic that we had to travel back to Brisbane to watch this film, as I left Brisbane when I was about 20 and have lived in Logan City right to this present day:-)
It's more or less a sequel to the 2007 cult hit 'All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane', which I have written about years ago on this blog -
While I still like the first film, the sequel is way funnier than the first I reckon.
Although the soundtrack to the first film is way better in my opinion.
I have the original movie on DVD, so my son and I watched it in the week leading up to the preview screening of the sequel, but Louise has put the full-length movie up on You Tube to watch, if you haven't seen it.
It's been up on You Tube for the last 4 months and it nearly has 100,000 hits.
This new film doesn't seem to have a trailer available on the net anywhere, which is weird.
Not even on its IMDB page.
By the way it has a score of
9.4 out of 10 at
its IMDB page, which I feel is about right.
My son is a tough movie critic, and even he says he gives it 9 out of 10
The movie was shot around the Brisbane CBD, West End and New Farm, especially right across the road from the cinema in the unit complex the writer/director couple live in next to the Crust Pizza shop, so the
New Farm Cinemas is the place to go see it, I reckon.
I even grabbed a coffee before the film from the coffee shop across the road, because I knew it was featured in the film from the screenshots I saw at the movie's
IMDB page.
And I usually grab an alcoholic drink from the bar when I go watch a movie at the New Farm Cinema.
New Farm Cinemas have put on a week's worth of sessions for the movie starting this Thursday, so go see it if you live in or around Brisbane.

The Last Day to Celebrate International Mediterranean Diet Month in 2026?😋

I've been eating a bit of
Greek/Greek style food this month, as I wrote in this recent post -
And before I ate at the
'Zeus Greek Street' restaurant was the night I donuted donated my book and DVD of 'The Secret Life of Bees' to a local street library.
And with yesterday being May 30th I thought it was synchromystic when I read about 'Bulfinch's Age of Fable' and 'Myths of Greece' being books mentioned on page 289 of
'The Secret Life of Bees'.

How to Celebrate Fakesgiving?🥳🦃

"Fakesgiving is a holiday with a twist. It’s a made-up Thanksgiving that doesn’t follow any official calendar. Families and friends plan it when their schedules finally match up. People gather around tables filled with food, laughter, and easy conversations. Nobody worries about thereal date. What matters most is being together..."
We don't have a Thanksgiving holiday here in Australia, but May 30th would be a good time to get together with my siblings and celebrate May 30th, as that is the wedding anniversary of our late parents.
I've written about May 30th before on this blog, like in this 2020 post below -

How to Celebrate Vivid Sydney?🥳🎉🌏

Probably not with drones?
Vivid drone show scrapped for good
after 'technical issue' sent 89
plummeting into
Sydney harbour
I remember Bernard Fanning the lead singer of 'Powderfinger' going off on a rant about drones when someone was flying one over the crowd filming his performance at the 'On the Banks' festival earlier this year.
He basically said that drones these days are seen as a symbol of war and everything that is wrong with the world at the moment.

Carl Jung and Connecting with Coincidence?⭐🤩🌟

Last night just before going to sleep I did a search on Apple Podcasts to see if there were any new podcast episodes worth listening to about "Synchronicity" and I found two new ones I thought would be, and they were.
Carl Jung and Astrology: Synchronicity,
Zodiac Archetypes and the Psyche
The first one I listened to was the latest 'Cosmic Scene with Jill Jardine' podcast episode about Carl Jung and astrology, which I thought was interesting, especially with me being born on the cusp of Virgo/Libra;-)
The Synchronicity Specialist,
with Dr. Bernie Beitman
The second podcast episode I tried to listen to last night, but fell asleep and had to relisten to this morning was a 'Tales from the Truth Seekers' podcast episode featuring Dr. Bernard Beitman ... who I tend to think of as the Mr. Magoo of the study of
"Synchronicity".
He just can't see what's right in front of him when it comes to "Synchronicity", because he is too caught up in his own story most of the time and can't see the forest for the trees, even though he says he takes walks in nature and even talks to the trees:-)
Bernie says that he is 83 when this podcast was recorded, so I Googled his bio and it says he was born in 1942, so I guess he turns 84 this year sometime, making him a Horse, as far as his Chinese astrological horoscope goes?
That means that Bernie has been on Earth for about 7 revolutions of Jupiter around the sun.
Laura Lynne Jackson's book 'SIGNS'
Funny thing is that Bernie mentions the Laura Lynne Jackson book 'SIGNS', which I've been reading this week, and how Laura mentioned him in the intro.
Can a Book or Podcast Episode Be a Sign? 🎤📕📖📚$🤔💭
'SIGNS' and Turtles All The Way Down
I had 3 credits on my Audible account, so I finally used one to get Bernie's first book, 'Connecting with Coincidence', and hopefully I'll have listened to it before June the 6th, this year;-)

How to Celebrate End of the Middle Ages Day?🙈🙉🙊

It seems like we are headed for the
Stone Age again with the idiots running (or at least trying to run) this planet.
Last Friday of May
Tomorrow is also my late parents' wedding anniversary, not to mention the anniversary of the deaths of my grandmother and my mother's sister.
