Do You "Like" This?

WARNING: The F word is used a bit in the above clip.
Just letting people know who don't like this sort of language;-)
'Likes' on Facebook can have serious consequences and ramifications for those who participate.

  1. But often it's not 'you' that they like or 'dislike' it's what you have written or published they are judging you on - and who cares a toss! Do we really need to care about what some spotty individual thinks, who probably hasn't seen daylight for days, and isn't of the real world. Must stop sterotyping and draw back the curtains and squeeze a few spots :)

  2. Spot on Mike! Ha ha. I'm guilty of not liking things that I do actually like because it just leads to notification madness. Like doesn't necessarily mean that I want to know about every comment ever made on it.

Hold on... Does this mean that I don't actually like these posts? or maybe I just don't like the process?

Had to stop that video now. Her voice kind of grates after a while. She's a bit of a whinger. I thought Australiens didn't do this ;-)

On the "thumbs down" dislike. I'm only aware of YouTube having this feature. I'm not convinced that I like it, but how about a "banish from the internet" button?

And as well as "like" how about an "I approve, but keep it out of my stream, I've moved on" button.

  4. @King Uke
You can hit the "unfollow" option on a Face-book post and you won't be bugged by notifications when every Tom,Dick and Harry write something on that post.I learned this when I "liked" something on Rae Dawn Chong's FB page.

  5. Google+ has a mute post that does the same thing. That's all well and good, but I want a button for it! ;-)

And a button for making me a cup of tea!

    "I like your comment KU...or do I ?-)"

I liked what you did there... or did I?
