    In the John Beal video, like the idea of naming the trees when planting them. I've only done something similar once with a bush planted over our dog who had died. The bush has certainly flourished and we still refer to it as 'Toby'.

    I've also named some of our plants/trees and yes, they usually have animals companions planted nearby. Fascinating.
