My Walk Through a David Lynch Painting

My postcard of the set reproduction
of
David Lynch's painting
I went to the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane yesterday to see the David Lynch "Between Two Worlds" exhibition and as soon as you walk into the exhibition you are confronted with one of David's paintings that GOMA has turned into a life-size walk through.
A picture of David's original painting
It was worth the price of admission right then and there for me, with the eerie soundtrack playing as I made my way through a painting come to life, right there in front of me.
Me looking out through the painting
with no one to observe me in it
Well, I have to say that if I had a bucket list this experience would certainly have been on it and you have until the 7th of June to get to Brisbane and tick it off yours.
I'll be doing a post soon to showcase my favourite pieces of David's work from my trip through GOMA yesterday, so stay tuned.

UPDATE:
Here's that post I promised -
