| All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane (2026) |
So, it was kind of ironic that we had to travel back to Brisbane to watch this film, as I left Brisbane when I was about 20 and have lived in Logan City right to this present day:-)
It's more or less a sequel to the 2007 cult hit 'All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane', which I have written about years ago on this blog -
Although the soundtrack to the first film is way better in my opinion.
I have the original movie on DVD, so my son and I watched it in the week leading up to the preview screening of the sequel, but Louise has put the full-length movie up on You Tube to watch, if you haven't seen it.
Not even on its IMDB page.
By the way it has a score of 9.4 out of 10 at its IMDB page, which I feel is about right.

My son is a tough movie critic, and even he says he gives it 9 out of 10.
The movie was shot around the Brisbane CBD, West End and New Farm, especially right across the road from the cinema in the unit complex the writer/director couple live in next to the Crust Pizza shop, so the New Farm Cinemas is the place to go see it, I reckon.
I even grabbed a coffee before the film from the coffee shop across the road, because I knew it was featured in the film from the screenshots I saw at the movie's IMDB page.

New Farm Cinemas have put on a week's worth of sessions for the movie starting this Thursday, so go see it if you live in or around Brisbane.
