All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane? 🎫🎬👏

Yesterday my youngest son and I went to a Q and A screening of the movie 'All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane' at the New Farm Cinemas.
All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane (2026)
So, it was kind of ironic that we had to travel back to Brisbane to watch this film, as I left Brisbane when I was about 20 and have lived in Logan City right to this present day:-)
It's more or less a sequel to the 2007 cult hit 'All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane', which I have written about years ago on this blog -
While I still like the first film, the sequel is way funnier than the first I reckon.
Although the soundtrack to the first film is way better in my opinion.
I have the original movie on DVD, so my son and I watched it in the week leading up to the preview screening of the sequel, but Louise has put the full-length movie up on You Tube to watch, if you haven't seen it.
It's been up on You Tube for the last 4 months and it nearly has 100,000 hits.
This new film doesn't seem to have a trailer available on the net anywhere, which is weird.
Not even on its IMDB page.
By the way it has a score of
9.4 out of 10 at
its IMDB page, which I feel is about right.
My son is a tough movie critic, and even he says he gives it 9 out of 10
The movie was shot around the Brisbane CBD, West End and New Farm, especially right across the road from the cinema in the unit complex the writer/director couple live in next to the Crust Pizza shop, so the
New Farm Cinemas is the place to go see it, I reckon.
I even grabbed a coffee before the film from the coffee shop across the road, because I knew it was featured in the film from the screenshots I saw at the movie's
IMDB page.
And I usually grab an alcoholic drink from the bar when I go watch a movie at the New Farm Cinema.
New Farm Cinemas have put on a week's worth of sessions for the movie starting this Thursday, so go see it if you live in or around Brisbane.
