Jethro Tull ... Just the Ticket for Me
Thanks go to one of my blogging friends, Alan Abbadessa-Green
for his synchromystic exploration pairing of
Jethro Tull's Thick as a Brick
(and Ian Anderson's Thick as a Brick 2)
with Pink Floyd's The Wall to see how the media overlap seems to speak to one another, share styles and themes, and to see what synchronicities can be found within.
If it wasn't for me watching his Vimeo of this pairing -
Thick as a Brick in The Wall
I probably wouldn't have cared less about buying tickets to hear the best of
Jethro Tull when Ian comes to Brisbane in December to perform
Thick as a Brick, but after listening to the album a few times I've grown quite fond of it in a way ... well, enough to want to hear it performed live at least.
And as luck would have it I managed to grab one of the last 42 tickets remaining.
The Best of Jethro Tull with Ian Anderson
So thanks to Alan I've got a seat to hear
these tunes live.

Check out Alan's pairing for yourselves by clicking on the Vimeo link above, before Vimeo pull it on him. .Collectomania Syncs
