Snake Plant (AKA Mother-in-Law's Tongue)

When I got back to Australia on Friday and could get access to my internet provider without getting hit with pay through the teeth roaming fees, I caught up with the Jake Kotze videos I hadn't seen since being in the USA. 

I noticed Jake had what I call Mother-in-Law's Tongue behind him in the video.

They are also known as Snake Plant or Viper's Bowstring Hemp, which I found amusing since 2025 is the Chinese Year of the Snake:-)

Not only that, but the hotel I was staying in in Sydney had them growing all about the place on the lower levels.

And as soon as I stepped out of the hotel, I spotted them growing in other buildings surrounding the hotel.

This area of Sydney was gearing up for the St. Patrick's Day weekend, and I happen to know that St. Patrick's Day is Jake's birthday.

Unfortunately for me St. Patrick's Day was my first day back at work, but now I've finished work for the day it's time for a Guinness or two:-)
