The Men Who Stare at Goats and the Daughters Who Lift Cars Off Their Dads Sync

I wrote a post about the movie Wake Up the other day, which prompted me to do a Google search on Jonas Elrod, the star of the movie, just to find out what other people had to say about him.

I found one link that promised to take me to a podcast he had done at the Disinformation website;

But try as I may, I couldn't get to hear it, the link was dead.
So I went to the Disinformation podcast archive to look for it, but I couldn't find it.
I did find a few interesting pod-casts though, two in particular caught my eye/ear;

 The Electric Jesus pod-cast grabbed my attention because of this set of synchros from months ago;

so, I've just ordered Jonathan Talat Phillips' book The Electric Jesus from Amazon.

The Amazon is where he had his profound experience oddly enough.

After listening to "The Electric Jesus" pod-cast. 

I listened to the Jon Ronson  pod-cast.

Having met Jon in Brisbane in 2005 and buying his book,

The Men Who Stare At Goats and seeing his doco footage of him and Alex Jones sneaking into Bohemian Grove

and seeing the movie that was made out of his book starring
George Clooney, plus various  other docos he had done;

I just had to have a listen to this pod-cast.

And here is another interesting sync.

In the pod-cast Matt asks Jon if there where any impressive feats of super human ability he witnessed in the special army training camps.

He said he was impressed by stories of mother's lifting cars off babies, but has never seen such stories in the news.

Straight after I had listened to the pod-cast (August 1st)

I saw a story in the news which had happened that day about a daughter who had lifted a car off her father and saved his life.

So I left this comment under the Disinfo pod-cast;

"It's funny, I listened to this podcast on the 1st August, and Jon mentioned about mother's getting superhuman strength and being able to lift cars off their babies, but he hadn't heard of any real cases in the news. 
Today (August 2nd) I see this story in the news -
"Daughter lifts cars off dad pinned underneath"
" An American woman is
being lauded as a hero after she saved her father's life by lifting a
car off him when he became pinned underneath.
Lauren Kornacki, 22, was leaving her parents' home in Glen Allen,
Virginia on Saturday when she saw her father Alec's car collapse on top
of him while he worked beneath it, WWBT reports.

Ms Kornacki's mother Liz said her daughter let out a "primal scream" as she told her to "dial 911".
But rather than waiting for help to arrive the 22-year-old literally took matters into her own hands.
"I just lifted up kind of right here and just kind of threw it, shoved
my body as hard as I could then I came back and dragged him out and
started CPR," Ms Kornacki said.
Her lifeguard experience came in handy as she kept her dad alive while she waited for an ambulance to arrive."
