UFOs, Time Travel and November 5 Synchs

I saw a post recently at the Synchrosecrets blog about -
Ken Peterson & Travis Walton
Travis Walton's alleged story of alien abduction is told in the 1993 movie Fire in the Sky.
The alleged abduction took place on November 5, 1975.
And fans of the movie Back to the Future will know November 5th is a key date for all three BTTF movies.
I saw Fire in the Sky at the cinema when it was released and wondered just how true this story was.
I don't recall watching it in full since then, so I may have to hire it out on DVD and give it another watch.
In the post at Synchrosecrets Ken Peterson claims he was in the truck November 5th, 1975 and witnessed a UFO shoot a beam out at Travis Walton.
He also claims to have witnessed a second UFO sighting on the 23rd November, 1993, which was the year the movie Fire in the Sky was released in cinemas.
My Signs watch
To quote the post at Synchrosecrets  -
"He [Ken] described this sighting as a “Phoenix lights” type of encounter that introduced him to the concept of synchronicity.
Andrea said that the sighting for her was spiritual and felt like a “Christ consciousness.”
Ken notes that a number of synchros involving Walton related to “phoenix.”
Walton was born in that city; the rebirth concept of phoenix is related to these encounters;
and that River and Joaquin Phoenix have figured into the larger picture,
as illustrated in this example:
“In 39 years, I have done only 6 interviews connected with both Travis and our 1975 encounter.
The first interview I did, along with him, was in 2002, 27 years after the encounter.
It was for an ABC special hosted by M. Night Shymalan, done in connection with the movie Signs,
which co-starred Joaquin Phoenix.” "
Now, I've never seen a UFO in my lifetime that I recall, but what got my attention about Ken's story was a number of personal synchronicties that resonated for me here.
For one, I was watching Walk the Line starring Joaquin Phoenix just before reading this post about Ken, as I had seen the Tex Perkins show about Johnny Cash called The Man in Black the week before at Jupiter's Casino and wanted to know more about Cash's life, which I wrote about in this recent post on my blog -
so I rented Walk the Line on DVD.
In the stage show above, Tex tells how JR Cash, who was only named JR by his parents, had to choose a Christian name when he joined the US Air Force, so he picked John as his Christian name from that point on.
I find it interesting that the man who would later become The Man in Black would choose the name John, as St. John of the Cross is attributed the phrase "The dark night of the soul".
And if you have read my post on the movie The Grey you would find out that John is the name of the main character.
The Grey/The Grays and the Triad
I also won a Signs watch and movie pack in a National movie magazine called Filmink when the movie came out on DVD.
There was only one prize for a watch, so the odds of me winning it were quite large, I thought.
There is even a post at the Synchrosecrets blog about me winning that watch in this post titled -
Daz and Signs
Ken then says -
"“In August 2008, Travis and I and some of his family members did a TV show in L.A.
Right after the show, we took the shuttle to Universal Studios City Walk.
Almost immediately, we all saw Edward James Olmos and a woman sitting down at a table, in the patio of a restaurant.
He may have been at Disney Studios nearby, working on the movie
Beverly Hills Chihuahua, which came out 2 months after we saw him.
In that movie, Drew Barrymore did the voice of the Chihuahua dog.
Of course, she became famous as Gertie, in Spielberg’s ET.
Henry Thomas, her co-star in ET, played the role of
one of the crew members in Fire in the Sky
the 1993 Paramount movie about our encounter.
Seeing Olmos led to a big connection related to Linda Ronstadt,
who was engaged to George Lucas at one time.
Of course, that connected up with River Phoenix
who was the young Indy, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”
And Rob wrote the novelization for
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade."
I found this strange also as I won two double passes to the movie Donnie Darko, a film produced by and starring Drew Barrymore, and took my wife and two sons to see it at the cinema when it was released in Australia.
Donnie Darko is also a film about time travel, in a way.
And one of my favourite bands, The Church had their song Under the Milky Way used on the soundtrack of the film.
But here is another weird coincidence, on November 23 this year, which is the date Ken claims to have had his second encounter with a UFO, I was watching The Church play a live gig in a high school that was opened in 1955.
Iggy Azalea's old High School
Iggy Azalea
I wrote about that in these two posts-
The Mullum(bimby) Music Festival 2014 (Part 1)

The Church @The Mullumbimby

Music Festival 2014

Drew Barrymore also received her first on screen kiss in a movie called Far From Home, starring Andras Jones, who was the actor having that honour.
Andras is a sync blogging pal of mine who is part of a larger group of sync bloggers who like me, live and breathe synchronicity, and you'll find many posts on my blog about Andras and synchronicity that I've written if you search my blog.
Joe Alexander who makes a lot of BTTF videos about strange things the movie seems to allude to, is also a member of the same group of bloggers Andras and I hang with in cyberspace.
Let's not forget the 5th of November is Guy Fawkes Night also.
In BTTF the date Marty travels back to is November 5th, 1955, which is exactly 20 years before Travis was taken by a UFO.
I was checking up on Edward James Olmos’ movie/TV career at IMDB and found that he starred in very six degree of separation type shows in relation to people in Rob and Trish MacGregor's inner circle.
For instance EJO played Eddie Holt in Whitley Striebers film version of his book Wolfen

Rob and Trish have been interviewed a number of times on
Whitley's Radio show about their books on aliens and other paranormal subjects they write about.
EJO also played Lieutenant Martin Castillo in the Miami Vice TV show and Prof. James Gellar in the TV show Dexter.

The Dexter novels are written by Jeff Lindsay, who is a close friend of Rob and Trish.
I also took my boys to see Jeff speak at a writer's festival in Brisbane a few years back and my youngest son got his books signed by Jeff.

Not only that, but EJO voiced the part of the shaman in a game called The Crystal Skull
The place is ancient Mexico and the fate of the Aztec empire rests with you.
Your quest is to find a magical crystal skull which holds the key to the future of the empire.
But beware – the journey is long and treacherous and unknown dangers lie in wait.
Survive the threat of mythic monsters, evil spirits and deadly traps and you may live to discover the secret of the crystal skull.
Three CD’s filled with hundreds of live action scenes, dozens of interactive puzzles, and 50 unique characters based on Aztec and Mayan mythology.
Edward James Olmos, star of Miami Vice, Blade Runner, and Stand and Deliver,
is your Shaman, as spirit guide who offers you help throughout your quest.

ARMED With a DREAM

Blade Runner was an adaption of Phillip K Dick's
Philip K Dick graduated from Berkley High School class of 1947
[September 25, 1980, from a conversation with Paul M. Sammon (Paul Sammon)]:
You would have to kill me and prop me up in the seat of my car with a smile painted on my face to get me to go near Hollywood.
Before he died, he saw about 20 minutes of Blade Runner (1982), mostly-completed special effects shots with some sound effects and no music. Dick, who had been cynical about it beforehand, left the screening pleasantly stunned with what he had seen.
Shortly before the film premiered, however, he died of a heart attack at the age of 53
The Doomsday Clock is a universally-recognized symbolic clock face, representing a countdown to possible political related global catastrophe (nuclear war or climate change)
It has been maintained since 1947 by the members of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, who are in turn advised by the Governing Board and the Board of Sponsors, including 18 Nobel Laureates.
The closer they set the Clock to midnight,
the closer the scientists believe the world is to global disaster.
Originally, the Clock, which hangs on a wall in a Bulletin's office in the University of Chicago, represented an analogy for the threat of global nuclear war
however, since 2007 it has also reflected climate change and new developments in the life sciences and technology that could inflict irrevocable harm to humanity.
The most recent officially announced setting—
five minutes to midnight (11:55pm)—was made on January 14, 2014
You might want to watch Joe's You Tube above again and look at the events of 1947.
It was a pivotal year for this planet in many ways.
No wonder the Doomsday Clock was set in motion in that year.
The question seems to be can it be wound back, or even stopped and why did aliens real, or imagined suddenly hit the headlines in 1947?
I saw Ridley Scott's new movie Exodus: Gods and Kings yesterday and couldn't help thinking that his little grey cloaked messenger guiding Moses in the movie could well have easily been seen as a grey alien, just as much as a little boy.
Was that what Ridley was alluding to?
July 11, 1947The Exodus leaves France for Palestine, with 4,500 Jewish Holocaust survivor refugees on board.
was born on the 24th February, 1947.
The song Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band mentions Sgt. Pepper teaching the band to play "20 years ago today".
This would place the event somewhere between February 1 and June 1 of 1947.
David Robert Jones (born 8 January 1947), known professionally by his stage name David Bowie.
Stephen King
(born September 21, 1947)
And even Loren Coleman is mentioned on the 1947 birth list at Wikipedia, believe it, or not.
Loren Coleman (born July 12, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia) is an author of books on a number of topics, including cryptozoology.
Richard Stephen Dreyfuss
(born October 29, 1947)
Anyway, I could go on, but by now you either think I'm bats#!t crazy, on to something, on something, or all of the above.
Another thing I found interesting about the Travis Walton story was that my mother's family were all forestry workers and one of my father's first full-time jobs before he became a taxi driver was working in the forestry under my mother's father as his boss.
That's where he met my mother.
Like I've said before, I've never seen anything that even looked like a UFO in real life and have no idea whether aliens are real, or not.
The only person in the family I ever heard talking of seeing a UFO was my mother's sister, who told my mother she saw a big red glowing object hovering not far from her over the hill where she was taking the washing off the clothesline one night on her farm.
Apparently, it was silent and just hovering there and she just dropped the basket and ran for the house.
Well, that's what my mother told me she had told her.
And that was in the small forestry town in which her family grew up.
Which is probably why I liked the city life growing up as a kid in Brisbane

UPDATE: 18th December, 2014
Ian Anderson on stage at the
Brisbane Concert Hall, Dec 13th, 2014
Jethro Tull ...
Just the Ticket
for Me
I saw Ian Anderson play the Brisbane Concert Hall on December 13th this year and guess what year Ian was born in?
1947.
Also Trish MacGregor passed on an e-mail to me where Ken mentioned "In Walk the Line, Joaquin Phoenix's father was played by Robert Patrick, who played the role of Mike Rogers, in
Fire in the Sky."
And guess what date Rob was born on?
November 5th, 1958.
You might want to remember that?-)

That it was propaganda, mind control, that you liked it,or thought it was crap ?
I liked the movie when I saw it,but always sat on the fence about whether it was real,or not.
I'm still am on the fence today about it.
I'll probably die sitting on the fence,I guess.
