I hadn't heard of Ted Fest until this year, and I have never watched an episode of 'Father Ted' yet.

I always thought that Ted Fest was one of those TED talk events like my old mate Remo is always banging on about at his website.

The Father Ted Wikipedia page states that, "Father Ted was met with critical acclaim and is the most popular sitcom in Irish TV history. The Irish media frequently uses the series as a point of comparison in political stories."

I see at the Father Ted IMDB site that Father Ted is streaming on Amazon Prime, so I might have to check out the TV show for myself?

As for going to Ted Fest, if I thought that Tipperary was a long way from where I live, then it's even longer to Inishmore.

Maybe I'll have to listen to Anna from Tipperary and try "investing in my future self, trusting my gut, and enjoying the simple moments"?
