I didn't get to see Bernard Fanning's 'Tea & Sympathy' concert at QPAC last October, because the tickets were all sold out when I tried to get some, but I did see him play his 'Tea & Sympathy' set at 'On The Banks' today/tonight (March 15th), as my youngest son bought me a ticket for Christmas.
There were support acts before BF took to the stage, such as Georgia Mooney, Troy and Jem Cassar-Daley, The Paper Kites and Kasey Chambers.

I had to laugh when I read at the 'Days of the Year' site that "Romans celebrate the goddess Anna Perenna on March 15 with picnics, heavy drinking, and games along the Tiber’s banks, marking the completion of the yearly cycle and, in earlier times, the Roman New Year."
In Roman mythology, Anna Perenna was a minor deity of the circle, wheel, or "ring" of the year, as indicated by her title Perenna (per annum).Oddly enough, Anna Perenna was a minor deity of the circle, wheel, or "ring" of the year, I thought it was "synchromystic" that the stage is right near the Brisbane Wheel:-)
It was a long day/night 'On The Banks' as we got there for the first act and stood at the front fence while Georgia Mooney did her set, only because my son wanted to go down to the front.
I hate being on the fence like some groupie, so I talked my son into moving back further from the stage for the next act.
The last time I saw Kasey play was at Twin Towns, I think?
