Did The Water Diviner DVD Predict the Demise of Russell Crowe's Rabbitohs in 2015?

I watched an Australian ex-rental DVD of the Russell Crowe directed movie The Water Diviner the other night and in hindsight noticed a clue that maybe his 2015 DVD release of The Water Diviner was giving to the demise of the Russell Crowe part owned NRL football team the Rabbitohs in that same year when the sharks would be RELENTLESS in the defeat and ending of Russell's team's season for 2015.

Right at the start of the Australian DVD rental version of The Water Diviner there is an ad run by the Intellectual Property Awareness Foundation where a camera man is wearing a  
Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks t-shirt.

When you go into the "Extra Features"section of the DVD there is a "Making of the Water Diviner" feature where Rus comes on screen saying how much you have to be relentless in your 
approach if you want come out with the goods.

There are even scenes in the "making of" feature where Russell is seen wearing his director's cap ... which also happens to be his Rabbitohs hat with a black bunny on it, as well.

In another scene Rus can be heard asking what the score was in a Rabbitoh's game and he says something like, "28 to 8, I think we can safely say that's a win".

The ironic thing is that Russell's team would bow out of the 2015 Rugby League season going down 28 points to 12 to my team The Sharks ... which I think we can safely say was a win;-)

Relentless?

I guess you could say that the water diviner never saw how relentless those Sharks were going to be in 2015 when it came to playing his team.

I doubt if even Mick Fanning could have stopped those relentless Sharks on the day either Rus.
Some things in life just seemed to be under Fate's control.
And just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, here comes the 2016 season.

On the subject of Shark tales and (turf) wars, right after having written this post I see this news story about two rival sharks -

That news story might make for a good movie ... or at least a sequel to one?
