Where's Bluey's Dad? At Easter!?🥚🚽🐣

On the toilet while his daughters hunt for eggs?!

I bought my granddaughter a Bluey book for Easter at a bookstore in the Sydney domestic airport when I was waiting for my Jet Star flight back to Brisbane.

It's titled,'Where's Bluey? At Easter', and it's a book where you have to find certain objects throughout the book in the style of those Where's Wally/Waldo? books.

I was telling my son last night that I had bought her the book, plus a Peppa Pig plate, cup, spoon and egg for Easter and that it wasn't really for this year (because she is only 6 months old) but for Easters to come.

I had briefly flicked through the book at the airport when I purchased it, but I decided to sit down and see just how hard it might be, and then I saw the page that I couldn't believe somehow made it into the book.

The bathroom Easter egg hunt, where Bluey's dad is reading a surf magazine and taking a dump in a toilet, while his daughters are in there searching for eggs?!

I've written posts before about parents overreacting to elements in the TV show, but I've heard nothing in the news about the scene in this book, which to me shouldn't be in there -

We even ran into Bluey on our trip to Vegas this year to watch The Sharks play and I thought my youngest son was going to give Bluey a hug for a minute ... but he didn't:-)

We had better things to watch on TV, when we got back to Australia;-)
