The Heretic and the Butterfly?⛪๐Ÿฆ‹

Heretic (2024)
"Heresy is any belief or theory that is strongly at variance with established beliefs or customs, particularly the accepted beliefs or religious law of a religious organization. A heretic is a proponent of heresy.
Heresy in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam has at times been met with censure ranging from excommunication to the death penalty."
I saw the 2024 movie 'Heretic' last Saturday after giving my granddaughter her birthday presents and a book about Sir David Attenborough, who was holding a butterfly on the front cover -

I had no idea that a butterfly would play such a key role in the movie, until I had seen the movie on Saturday afternoon.
I really liked this movie apart from the psychopath Hugh Grant's character turn out to be in the end.
Ironically, the book I'm reading right now even mentions Hugh Grant in the early part of the book and I only read that part after seeing the movie:-)

I guess Hugh will be making an appearance at the 2025 Oscars ... God willing?-)
The Hollies song 'The Air That I Breathe' plays a big part in the movie also, because, "the English rock band Radiohead reused the chord progression and melody of "The Air That I Breathe" for their 1992 song "Creep" after Rondor Music, the publisher of "The Air That I Breathe", took legal action, Hammond and Hazlewood received cowriting credits and a percentage of the royalties. Hammond said Radiohead were honest about having reused the composition, and so he and Hazlewood accepted only a small part of the royalties. Radiohead later sued singer Lana Del Rey for allegedly plagiarizing "Creep" in her 2017 song "Get Free." The copyright dispute was settled, and the writing credits on "Get Free" were not changed as a result.
I like how 'Simply Red''s version of
'The Air That I Breathe' runs for 4:24 minutes:-)
424s Again
I also happen to be halfway through
Shirley MacLaine's 2011 book 'I'm Over All That' and I happened to hear her quote a Biblical or Religious passage on a recent 'Now I've Heard Everything' podcast about God being as close as the air that you breathe:-)
