There was even a DVD of 'John Safran vs God' in her collection, which I was going to buy, as I once owned a copy, but gave it away to my eldest son, so God only knows where that DVD is.
Unfortunately, the DVD cardboard cover was fused together because of flood damaged and the DVD looked unplayable and had to be binned.
I even got a mention in one of the episodes of that TV series for writing in for the church billboard competition and I wrote about that show in this old post -
Saint BobShe looked like she was into shamanism bigtime with the tatts she had and the stuff she dropped off.
If I had to guess I would say that she had gone through the Lismore floods by the looks of the amount of water damaged stuff in her collection/donation.
HeART Felt Art?Two of her music CDs I bought, one called 'Crow Medicine', which somehow survived the flood, and one called 'Love Light' by Darpan, who I've met and wrote about in this old post -
'Love Light' was still wrapped in plastic and had never been played by the looks of it, and because Darpan had been sitting next to me at the 'Origins of Consciousness Tour' back in 2012, I decided to buy it, since this CD was from 2011.
It's been over 12 years now since I ran into Darpan, and I wonder if he is still into this kind of music? The funny thing is I've had these two CDs laying around on my computer table unplayed by me until yesterday morning, when I went out to replace the water in my birdbath and saw a crow butterfly flying around in my neighbour's backyard.
I didn't have my phone on me, so you'll have to take my word on it.
I watched it flying around for a while hoping it would fly into my backyard, but it seemed to be heading away down through the other backyards.
I watched it flying around for a while hoping it would fly into my backyard, but it seemed to be heading away down through the other backyards.
I went in to fill a bucket of water to fill the birdbath back up and as I stepped out through my sliding door I nearly got hit in the face by the butterfly, which was now fluttering around my nearly treeless backyard.
I watched the butterfly flutter around me and then fly off into my other neighbour's backyard and then I filled the birdbath.
I turned around to walk back inside and then saw a crow feather blowing towards me.
It had been raining that morning, so the crow feather looked wet, but was half dry when I picked it up.
The reason I have to regularly change the birdbath water is that the crows often dip their bread that the neighbour over the back feeds them into the birdbath to soften the bread, but if pollutes the birdbath after a day or two.
I saw this damp crow feather as a sign to play both CDs during the day and was stunned by the topic of the songs on Darpan's 2011 CD.
