Dimboola?💒🔥🚒🎭

I saw a news story about the "Dimboola fires" and how a wedding venue called Little Desert Nature Lodge was burnt down by the fires.

I was under the impression that Dimboola was just a made-up town for the name of a stage play/movie that I had never watched until reading this news story about the Dimboola fires and finding out the movie was available to watch for free on Amazon Prime if you had a subscription, which I did, so I watched it.

'Dimboola' is one of the worst Australian movies I have ever seen ... and that's saying something, as I have seen a lot of bad Australian films.

Darkly ironic that a Nature Lodge famed as a wedding venue just outside the town of Dimboola would burn down from a fire started on January 27th, 2025 (the Australia Day public holiday this year because the Australia Day fell on a Sunday) and 26 days after the passing of one of the movie's stars, Chad Morgan -
