One Father's Dream and Another Father's Nightmare in the Same Week on Bribie Island? 😴🌊🦈

With my fear of real-life sharks and swimming in the ocean since childhood, I was often told by surfer mates that I'd have more chance of being struck by lightning or winning the lotto, than to be taken by a shark.
So, to see in the news this week the tragic grief of a father losing his daughter to a shark attack on one of my favourite little Australian islands and then to see the news of a retired father living on Bribie Island winning the $60,000,000 Powerball jackpot on Thursday night just boggles my mind in both good and bad luck ways.

What are the odds of that happening on the same tiny island in the one week
A Fatal Shark Attack at Woorim Beach?🌊🦈
And then to see Bindi Irwin's interview above, where she talks about the loss of her father and mentions the metaphor of Shark Week in the same interview, drop the day after the fatal shark attack on an island not too far from Australia Zoo, makes me wonder just how random life really is, and whether it is all just a dream or a nightmare ... or both?
