Apple Cider Vinegar Netflix Mini Series (2025)
I binged watched the new Australian Netflix mini-series about Belle Gibson (born Annebelle NataLIE SmilLIE ... if you believe that Mojo screenshot above) who lied her way to success and downfall with, "claims of having had multiple cancers that were self-treated through diet and alternative medicine as well as fraudulent claims of donating $300,000 of income to charities", if you can believe the Wikipedia page about her, that is;-)
"Gibson launched The Whole Pantry mobile app in August 2013 [the Year of the Snake], at age 21", according to Wikipedia.
I'm not against healthy eating, as prevention is better than cure, I feel, but to lie to people who already have cancer about curing cancer through diet and telling them that's what helped cure your cancer when you never had it in the first place is just pure scumbaggery.
According to the last episode of 'Apple Cider Vinegar', Belle got $75,000 from '60 Minutes' (Australia) for doing that above interview.
I thought this mini-series did a good job of examining just what the truth is when it comes to the internet and Netflix mini-series based on true stories.
I really liked 'Apple Cider Vinegar', but I only watched 'Apple Cider Vinegar' because I saw Matt Nable was in it, as I've met him in real life before ... and I'm not lying -
