Solvang, California and The Unseen?🌏🛫🛬🌎🏈🦉👀

Solvang "The Danish Capital of America" is a town I wish I had have heard about before I had finished planning out my trip to America.

Being part Danish (22% according to Ancestry.com now) myself this is a town I would dearly love to visit.

It's Not Easy Being Green ... landic or Danish/Australian?🌏🐸🌎🦈

I only heard about this town the other day when I read a news story about a tongue in cheek Danish online petition to buy California:-P

I learned through the town's Wikipedia site that there have been a few movies filmed in and around the town, including this 2020 Christmas movie called 'A Very Charming Christmas Town'.

But what I found amusing was that a movie called 'The Unseen' was filmed there and my old mate "The Owl Guy" Mike Clelland has a book and podcast called 'The Unseen' and he is also part Danish:-)

I wonder if there are any owls in Solvang?

National Drink Wine Day

Much of the Oscar-winning film Sideways (2004) was filmed in Solvang and in nearby Buellton.

Now I really have to start planning another trip and visit 

Solvang:-P

At least I have wine in the fridge today:-)
