It's Super Bowl Sunday ... but not in Australia?

Being a Seattle Seahawks fan myself, I must admit that I was going for the Philadelphia Eagles to win the Super Bowl this year, because I didn't want to see a Chiefs 3peat (because I want to live long enough to see the Seahawks pull that one off;-) and because Jordan Mailata the Aussie Samoan was playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Over here in Oz the Super Bowl is televised live from America on Monday morning and ends somewhere around lunchtime, so there is no Super Bowl Sunday to celebrate over here.

Hymn for the Weekend on Any Given Sunday?

I guess over here in Oz we aren't in Kansas anymore:-)

I did buy a BBQ Chicken pizza on Sunday to celebrate National Pizza Day and Super Chicken Wing Day, as a compromise between the two American Sunday celebrations, as there was no Super Bowl Sunday happening on Sunday over here.

I guess I'll have something to celebrate all week now, too?-)

I wonder what my old mate Christopher Knowles over at 'The Secret Sun' blog thought of the Super Bowl "ritual" this year?-)
