How to Celebrate Children’s Picture Book Day? πŸŒ•πŸ“–πŸ₯šπŸ‡πŸŒπŸ°

I spent
Easter Thursday night watching my AFL team the Brisbane Lions play the Collingwood Magpies at the Gabba in my hometown.
And afterwards my 31-year-old son wanted to walk out onto the field for old times' sake, as when he was a little kid I would take him out onto the field after a game with his football for a kick.
You ain't allowed on to the
game's launch pad though:-)
We didn't have a football with us tonight so didn't get to kick a football between us, but as I was standing behind the goalposts trying to capture a shot of all the footballs flying towards the goal and me, I saw the moon up in the sky and remembered that in the morning (Australian time) that day astronauts left America for the moon, but it would have been April 1st over there, which is April Fool's Day:-)
But you might have to "fact check" that for yourself today?

A good book is hard to find, just like the truth:-)
Young or old, we all like a good story, no matter how
true it all is
