The first time a synchronicity truly floored me in my life was when I was burying my cat Sylvester sometime in the 90s, after he had been run over the night before, and as I was digging in the dirt to bury him Peter Gabriel's song 'Digging in the Dirt' came on my car's radio as I was just getting ready to lay my old mate Sylvester to rest.

Funny thing is that I bought two giant dice yesterday after watching 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie', because I needed to buy some groceries before going home, and ALDI had these giant dice pillows on sale, and I bought two of them, with me not knowing that the next day was going to be 'National Poker Day'.

When I got home, I threw the dice pillows onto the couch and threw a 4 and a 2, not thinking at the time to snap a picture of the pillows on the couch.

I tried throwing them again to see what numbers would turn up and realized that 4 and 2 is the meaning of life and how my dice on my computer table shelf are laid out.

I had only been thinking of throwing a winning craps hand at the time and only realized after I had picked up the dice for a second roll that metaphorically I had thrown the perfect number as far as "life" goes, according to DNA (AKA Douglas Noel Adams).

I think I'll leave the dice showing 42 on the couch from now on to remind me that life has more meaning than I'll ever know while I'm living down here:-)
