"As Mars approaches opposition on January 16, it will appear larger and brighter, making it an ideal time for telescope viewing. The alignment of the Moon and Mars will create a stunning visual contrast in the night sky."
Launch of Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket postponed |
I sat watching the live feed from the BBC, only to see the launch time pushed back further all the time.
Which ironically gave me the time to finish watching on You Tube one of the '101 Sci-Fi Movies You Must See Before You Die', a 1918 Dannish movie called 'A Trip to Mars'.
Maybe the USA need a place like Greenland to launch their rockets from after Trump takes it off Denmark with either dollars or bombs;-)
Hadrian the 7th and Trump the 45th and 47th? ✊✋✌ππTrump's Bold Plan to Take Greenland?! |
I started reading this book on National Science Fiction Day (January 2nd) and started off by watching the first movie in the book 'Voyage to the Moon' with plans to watch the last movie in the book 'Children of Men' next (which I did) and then alternate going front to back until I reach the center of the book.
'A Trip to Mars' just happened to be the next in that order, which I watched last night waiting to see Blue Origin's New Glenn take off:-)
I guess it doesn't hurt to dream about getting off one planet to start more
