The Greatest Showman and Who is the Better Man?🎤🐒🎪🐵🎬🎭

To be honest, I'm more interested in the story of how Michael Gracey got the greenlight to make 'The Greatest Showman' and 'Better Man', as told to Sean Sennett in the podcast episode below, and which I wrote about in this recent post -
I guess that's why autobiographies and biographies are so popular?
But any autobiography or biography has to be a mix of fact and fiction, no matter who writes it or how hard they try to stick to the truth while writing or telling it.
Working in an Op Shop I buy a lot of biographical books that cross my path.
Someone had donated this 1D book below before the movie 'Better Man' hit the cinemas, and I snapped it up not knowing one "Boy Band" from the next, thinking this might have been the band that Robbie was fired from.
I soon found out from the news headlines around the time I bought the book that it was Liam Payne's old band.
I never even knew who Liam Payne was until I read the tragic news of his death.

"On 16 October 2024, he died at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Following his death, Payne's track "Teardrops" debuted on the UK singles chart, alongside the re-entry of 11 of his other works. I notice that Liam Payne shared his birthdate of August 29th with Liz Fraser, so it's amazing that the self-professed "Synchromystic" Chris Knowles at 'The Secret Sun' ain't all over that one:-)

Ironically, I noticed a scene in the movie 'Better Man' where Robbie (as a monkey) falls over the rails of an internal staircase from a height that would kill you if you had nothing to break your fall ... in real life that is.
You can see part of that scene in the music video for 'Forbidden Road'.
On the subject of music videos, I see that the director of 'Better Man' was the director of Sean Sennet's 2003 video above for the song 'My Love Is A Kite'.
I wouldn't have known about the song or music clip until going through Michael's director credits at his IMDB page:-)
No wonder Sean had Michael on his podcast recently.
Life is a one-way journey, not a destination it seems;-)

I just realized as I posted this post that it is Elvis' birthday, on the subject of greatest showmen and biographies:-)
It's also Stephen Hawking's birthday today:-)
