International Zebra Day and Wildlife Week?🦓👀📆

I see by looking on the
'Days of the Year' website that this week is 'National Wildlife Week' and they have used a zebra to highlight the week?
I stumbled upon the 'Days of the Year' website back in January when I bought a zebra wooden wall hanging and found out that it was 'International Zebra Day' that day.
Every January 31st
I bought it to hang on my wall because it reminded me of PKD's zebra from 'VALIS' (which Fat had previously termed Zebra), not because that day happened to be 'International Zebra Day'.
I'm still yet to read it:-(
"
In the Exegesis, he theorized as to the origins and meaning of these experiences, frequently concluding that they were religious in nature. The being that originated the experiences is referred to by several names, including Zebra, God, and the Vast Active Living Intelligence System."
I even bought a zebra patterned hand towel at the time:-)
I like the idea of
PKD's zebra as a metaphor, so I hung the zebra wooden wall hanging above the entrance/exit to my computer room.
At least zebras are real, unlike unicorns.
For some reason 'Death of a Unicorn' starts in Australia at cinemas tomorrow (April 10th) the day after 'Unicorn Day':-)
I can't say that I'll be rushing to the cinema to watch it.

Maybe the zebra wooden wall hanging just came into my life to guide me to the 'Days of the Year' website?
