Vegas is a strange town to me ... but then so is life, I reckon.
When I got back from America, someone had donated some CDs to the op shop I work at, and one of those CDs was a Human Nature CD called 'Human Nature Las Vegas ... Songs from Sin City' and one song I saw among the tracks listed was 'Danke Schoen', so I bought it, as 'Danke Schoen' is sung in the movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', which I watched on the plane on my flight to America on Carpe Diem Day -

And he was playing in The Flamingo when I was there, I saw.
If I had have had more time in Vegas, I may have bought tickets to see Wayne's show, as I doubt I would get that chance again, even if I go back to Vegas in the near future for some reason.
I also bought a secondhand Christopher Cross CD in LA, as the flamingo was one of my motivating signs for going to America ... and Singapore ... this Year of the Snake.
I guess the Shark was, too ... but not for Singapore;-)
Match Day in Vegas 2025: The Sharks vs The Panthers?ππ¦πππ²Wayne Newton is the singer that really made 'Danke Schoen' a big hit and he is still playing Vegas, not that I went and saw him when I was in Vegas.
