Robert Duvall was born on January 5th, 1931, and even though 1931 was mainly the Year of the Goat, the Year of the Horse didn't finish until February 16th in 1931, making Bob a horse, as far as his Chinese zodiac animal goes.

He died on February 15th, 2026, 2 days before 2026, the Year of the Horse started on February 17th, 2026.
