I've had it for so long that I don't even remember where I found or bought the book.
It looks secondhand to me, so it was either from street lending library, or a secondhand bookstore, I can't remember where or when I acquired the book, just that it's been in my bookcase for a very long time, because I always make an excuse as to why I can't read it at the time:-)
The funny thing is that the book would still be sitting in my bookcase if a young woman hadn't had donated Gordon White's book 'The Chaos Protocols' to the Op Shop I work at.
I bought her copy, as I used to own a copy of 'The Chaos Protocols', but I read it and gave it away when Gordon was alive, BUT now he has passed, I wanted to keep the book near me on a shelf where I could see it, to remind myself how short life is, and not to put off the things I can do today for a tomorrow that may never come.
His book was donated just after I had come back from a trip to Perth, Western Australia, and I had bought a big book called 'The Travel Book', featuring every country around the world, and had it laying on my computer room floor, so I could flick through it and then find a place for it in one of my bookcases, as I was wondering whether I should be doing more traveling in my near future?
When I pulled the BUT book out of my bookcase to place 'The Chaos Protocols' in its place, I noticed when I looked down at the books on the floor of the room that the TRAVEL and BUT words were both printed in red ink and looked similar in font:-)
So, does that mean I should do more TRAVELing in my near future, or does it mean that I can kiss my BUT goodbye if I do?
I never thought Gordo's book was a great read when I read it, as Choas Magic is something that interests me as much as New Age "manifesting" or wishful thinking.
BUT I will keep this copy on the shelf, whether I read it again or not, as a memorial to my late mate, who changed my life as much as I probably changed his?

| Gordon White has passed away on a trip to Peru |
And I will now start reading 'Kiss Your BUT Good-bye: How to Get Beyond the One Word That Stands Between You and Success' and probably end up donating it to a street library:-)
