The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance."

Ear Spring Isn't Listening to Your Chaos Magick and Wishes?

Flip a coin shall we?-)
"But when Ear Spring geyser in Yellowstone National Park in northern United States erupted, it fired rocks, water and trash metres into the air.
"On
September 15, 2018, Ear Spring erupted and ejected lots of decades-old trash," Yellowstone said on its Facebook page.
In a live video on
Facebook, park staff detailed the trash they had found from the eruption, which included a cinderblock, cigarette butts, a 1930s baby dummy, a grizzly bear warning sign, and nearly 100 coins."

"Yellowstone spokeswoman Linda Veress said the combination of increased tourism and tourists continuing to throw garbage into the geysers has affected springs like Handkerchief Pool.
"[Handkerchief Pool] stopped functioning sometime in the 1920s or '30s. It stopped because people threw coins, broken bottles, rocks, hairpins, and a small horseshoe into it about 100 years ago," she said.
Other springs like the
Morning Glory pool have over time transformed from a deep blue colour to yellow and green due to the chemical composition in the spring changing, thanks to garbage clogging it up.
Ear Spring erupts very rarely
, and is a more docile neighbour of the famous Old Faithful geyser.
The US Geological Survey
says Ear Spring has only erupted four times in the past 60 years, with the last significant burst of activity coming in 1957.
"The next time
Ear Spring erupts we hope it's nothing but natural rocks and water," Yellowstone National Park wrote on Facebook.
"You can help by never throwing anything into
Yellowstone's thermal features.""

Words, Sigils, Squiggles and Wishes?
Ironically, the day I finished reading Gordon White's interesting book, 'The Chaos Protocols' and had just read the final "chapter" titled 'Appendix: The Grimoire That Wasn't', I see on the ABC news site a story about Ear Spring erupting and spewing out garbage and over 100 coins -
Yellowstone geyser Ear Spring spews up decades-old garbage in rare eruption
"The US Geological Survey says Ear Spring has only erupted four times in the past 60 years, with the last significant burst of activity coming in 1957."
I thought it was amusing that the news story mentioned that the last major eruption from Ear Spring was in 1957 and in the RAW video -
Robert Anton Wilson on Chaos
RAW says that he was one of the founding members of chaos theory way back in 1957:-)
What Happened in 1957 Important News and Events, Key Technology and Popular Culture
"1957 (MCMLVII) was a common year starting on Tuesday of the Gregorian calendar, the 1957th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 957th year of the 2nd millennium, the 57th year of the 20th century, and the 8th year of the 1950s deca."
To be honest I'm not a fan of "chaos magick", because it all sounds like a hodge-podge of Harry Potter BS to me.
I'm not saying that I don't agree with some of the stuff they have gathered up into their practices, which I don't see as belonging to "chaos magicians" exclusively, stuff like synchromysticism, which I consider a much bigger subject than any wand waving club can say is part of their kit bag.
No "magician" controls synchromysticism, it controls you in my opinion.
And what the f#ck does chaos magick even mean?
Wouldn't "life magic" make a better name than "chaos magick"?
And while I enjoyed reading Gordon's book, some of his advice, like meeting "the devil" at the crossroads to make pacts, sounds as dumb to me as going to a nice loan shark to ask to borrow money for a pet project.
I don't believe in a devil in the Christian sense, but on a mythological level I think making deals with negative (in my book anyway ... not racist by the way Gordon:-) entities are not a good idea.
But if that floats your boat, knock yourself out I say.
I don't believe in going to hell, but I don't believe calling on entities like that, whether real or imagined, is a good practice.
Coincidence or magick?-)
In the sub-chapter of that last chapter of 'The Chaos Protocols' titled 'City Spirits' Gordon writes of throwing coins into the Thames River in London as offerings, largely because the Romans did it 2000 years ago.
When in Rome
A Grizzly Bear warning sign?-)
Gordon even writes about the 'Powerful Spell of the Bear' in that appendix chapter;-)
And Gordon ends that appendix chapter with the sub-chapter 'Dreaming', which I agree is an important practice and one to take note of in our lives.

And while I'm not a fan of some of Gordon's magical practices and advice I do agree that we are in for some rough financial waves ahead that we better hope we can surf, no matter what the newspapers are trying to tell us.

Snake or S(er)PENT?
All of these newspaper stories in this post were from the same October 9th, 2018 newspaper.
COINcidence?-)
The Synchromysticism of October 6th and Six Degrees of Dennis Quaid?
Life is certainly one big chaotic coincidence, so maybe I should coin a new term, "Chaocoincidence"?

Might be pushing my luck you reckon?
And as coincidence would have it, as soon as I finished writing this post (or so I thought) I see an interview has just gone up with Chris Knowles from 'The Secret Sun' blog, and what is the episode titled?-)
