I don't remember what my New Year’s resolutions were for this year, or even if I actually made any, but I did have plans for this year ... or at least dreams, and one of them was to visit Perth for the first time in my life to see The Sharks play The Roosters at OPTUS oval with my son.

But he told me that he couldn't get the time off work for that weekend, so that didn't happen.

I've lived in Australia pretty much all of my life and until I watched that REMORANDOM You Tube above I had not heard of the term "Perthling" for someone who comes from Perth in Western Australia.

I went on a You Tube search for the term "Perthling" to see how common this term was for someone from Perth and found the You Tube below titled 'Roll of the Dice' uploaded by The Perthling:-)

Although, it is looking more likely that I'll be among the Perthlings in this second half of the year, God willing that is.

As long as that Snake of theirs doesn't wreck my plans before, or when, I get over there;-)
